are there any string matching languages besides regex?
Any language can be used to match strings.

What?

I mean languages for pattern matching specifically. Regex is tailored at pattern matching and does this well but not much else; are there any others like that?

Making a new thread before there is any reasonable justification for it as usual, faggot. Thanks for not disappointing us.
You forgot:
>Asking "Hey guys, what's your opinion on x?" is frowned upon.
>Wireless is frowned upon.
>Headset requests are frowned upon.
>Noise isolation ≠ Noise cancellation
>If you dislike a suggestion, try giving a better suggestion to whomever asked instead of going "hurr, x sucks"
>>56722578
Why are wireless and headsets frowned upon again, last time I checked you didn't have an argument.
How does this make you guys feel?.
On the Yoga 900S and 710S, Lenovo deployed a proprietary soft-RAID setup that cannot be recognized by Linux installers.

Software engineer student here. Just had a test. Do /g/ consider the following question hard:
Create a recursive function of power - the second number is the power: ex. pow(2,3).
You can use a pre wrote multiply function - ex: mult(2,2).
>pre wrote
>>56722211
It seems pretty easy. Do you have to do it on paper or computer?
def pow(b,e):
return pow(mult(b,b),e-1) if e > 1 else b
???
.

Don't tell me you're still a wordcuck, /g/?
When are you going to wake up from your dogmatic slumber and do all your document compiling in LaTeX like a true scholar?
Enjoy fruitlessly trying to navigate your Pajeet-tier word processor for basic operations they moved for no reason during the last update.

If I want a second job I'll get paid, thanks.
who the fuck uses a word processor are you still in school or something
I'm honestly 100% happy with this system. Might get another SSD dedicated to programs but that's it.

My SSD vidya SSD took a shit on me and need a new one.
Is this as good as they say it is or is it just a meme?
I can get a 1TB Samsung Evo for the same price as the 512GB M.2 Pro
i got a 1tb evo god bless my short loading times
if its for games, get the larger one.
The 950 pro is damn quick, but it's mostly wasted unless you do 4k editing or have huge read/writes you do regularly.
>>56721514
Do you have a motherboard capable of M.2 x4?
If so then yes they are great and new ones are coming out.

w3m is the best terminal browser, it actually can display images
for the most part, using a terminal browser isn't worth it since it doesn't display images well, don't handle javascript, and has issues with CSS, though you can do a lot more in the terminal than you can on powershell or cmd on windows
firefox aurora and dillo are good GUI browsers on linux
>>56721145
Terminal is good in concurrency with Xorg. Both are tools to accomplish different things, and X may be old, but it works if you don't bog it down with a bunch of useless shit like a DE
