Literal botnet, nothing you can possibly do will ever make that safe. Not even memeing.

I don't know
Is it true that Switzerland is heaven for programmers and generally IT people? Any of you live/work there? Any Switzerlads?
>>56896954
Switzerland in general is fantastic, but good luck getting citizenship. We're closing the borders at the moment thanks to all the wonderful refugees flooding all the surrounding nations.
Downside is that once our neighbors are taken over we're going to be invaded, but that's why we live in mountains and carry assault rifles. Pic related.
>>56896982
i live in the european union, im considering something like working here for a swiss company (credit suisse for instance) then after some time if its okay ask them to move me to Zurich
>>56896954
Swiss here, yes Switzerland is a pretty chill country in general, you could say everything just werks. Public infrastructure is great compared to the other "first-world" countries around us.
But it's a very small country, which has its downsides. Everything we do that's purely Swiss is ridiculously cringy and lacks professionalism. Swiss television, for instance, is a fucking joke, high school filmmaking club-tier quality. Our politicians too. Of course they get the job done, but compared to the politicians in other countries it just looks like ours do politics as a hobby....
Oh and everything is insanely expensive. I guess salaries are proportionally higher too, but I'm studying ATM so I'm getting assraped by every landlord, insurance company, fast food place.
As for how good it is for IT/CS stuff, I'm not aware that Switzerland is particularly good. First time I've heard someone say this. Of course, we have the EPFL and ETH, two of the best-ranked schools worldwide (with ETH even ranked number 1 for CS IIRC), but there are more brown people than Swiss in those schools.
And finally don't listen to >>56896982
Absolutely nobody here "carries assault rifles". Only exception is soldiers in basic training going home to their mamas during the weekend. They get to take their weapon home to look like big boys. But yes, everyone who was in the military (almost every man) must keep their rifle at home in case of war. But no ammo. And I don't think you're allowed to carry it when you're not in uniform, contrary to the girls in the picture
Of course we have our rednecks too, mostly mountain farmers and the like, who love shooting. They gather at the shooting range and sometimes there are even "shooting festivals".
But never will you see anyone with a firearm outside of those 2 instances. This is not the US, we don't have people walking around with a glock tucked in their pants. Equating our low crime rate with "carrying assault rifles" is totally disingenuous.
Nostalgia fags will defend this mediocre device.

Not really. It was the last nexus that was worth it but it was still just meh.
Switched to a k6000 pro for the battery.
Posting from an N5, and i have to agree.
I bought this as an temporary thing (used), since i needed a new number, and im ready to get rid of it. It, just lags too much.
I don't get the whole praise.

The only downside is the hard drives were missing so for now I have a really shitty 80GB drive that's ancient in there. It was some old guy selling it, I wonder if it was his NEET son's or something. I could sell it for $500 easily.
So how did I do? Good deal or no?

It's not an i7 and it's worthless. You paid about what you should have with two 5970s, but since you're retarded they're probably 5790s or something.

I fell asleep last night with the windows lock screen up on my 2007 panasonic plasma tv.
The last time this happened it took a month of tv watching to make it go away. Is there any quick and easy way to get rid of it?
How do I achieve this wavy effect? Is it done in Audacity?

That idiot gook can't run this site that moot managed to run for over a decade, starting when he was a fucking child, when bandwidth costs were much higher and traffic was much lower.
The truth of the matter is that having all of the internet hate machine's eggs in one basket was always a bad idea. When GamerGate happened, a certain number of people started to move over to infinity, which was an open source alternative. This is important. The hate cannot survive if it's quarantined into one vulnerable place. we must be able to spread out and gather wherever we want. For this reason, we must recreate 4chan as an open source project.
Infinity is a cheap, uninnovative cludge with frequent technical problems. It still uses fucking PHP in fucking 2016, All of the PHP needs to be purged and replaced with Go.
Some languages to use for replacement chan:
Go
Node
HTML5
CSS
JavaScript
Banned Languages:
Ruby
Python
PHP
I only know basic webdev, and I don't plan on becoming a webdev after I graduate from CS, but I can still help. If this gets going I will set up a dedicated Ubuntu box and make pseudo-anonymous GitHub account.
Muggles can design the logo.

You want a full router interface for a single device?

Well, one useful instance that comes to mind is networking multiple machines without a router.

Why do people hate this language for all the wrong reasons?
Functions as objects is cool as hell.
>>56882181
people hate javascript because they are forced into it.
they also hate it because the language seems easy at first but then they discover that its not and they get nervous.
I mean its alright, I can emphasize with them but what pisses me off are the smart asses that discard all the efforts of the community and be like "DAE hates JS frameworks xDDD" "DAE hates learning the tool chain muh fatigue :D:DD:D:". God I can't wait for webassembly so these fucks can stick to their C++ and not piss me off.
>>56882181

4chan Pass user since October 2016.
>>56882181
It's everywhere, the misfeatures are prominent, the shitlords run the ecosystem and most of the time everything is broken and awful.
A lot of the hate that belongs in the awful DOM is misplaced into the language, but the javascript writers design the DOM shit so it's all cyclical.
