Ex-/k/ommando here with a fresh GI bill. I've been a linuxfag since early on in life. Did a little hobby programming before I went to fight for ZOG. I'm going to school for CS now and they offer two tracks. One of them subsidized by MS where we work heavily with C# and .NET while the other is a traditional Java-centric curriculum.
I don't want to join the botnet but at the same time I would like every advantage I can get in terms of being tracked to a job after school. What's the general consensus on MS, C#, and .NET /g/entoomen? Do the forces of evil pay well or should I stick to my guns?
the botnet is just a meme anon ypu know this right? don't think like a faggot

I don't care. Fuck Google.
>"So, where is your favorite street to shit in?"
the google worship is pretty cringey but I do admire the guy's devotion and work ethic
I am a linux noob.
I have narrowed it down to Manjaro or Xubuntu. Which would be best?
try xubuntu out for a while and move on to majaro+xfce later on once you get used to linux
>>56957515
Xubuntu. Whenever you don't know what to do just google "____ ubuntu", and you'll have your answer.
>>56957526
So Manjaro is harder?
What projects do you recommend for absolute beginners?
installing gentoo
make a bot to post incessant threads on /g/ asking what to do with a rpi
Write a basic "about me" website using naked html and CSS. Use Apache to host.

>who has a 45 gig flash drive
>32. Works really great for me.
did you fall for the VR meme, /g/?
That looks like AR
>>56957405
Nope. But I enjoy my VR sets. I just didn't fall for a meme. How's school by the way?

I've been running a Dinogy 3S lipo, but most people say they're shit. I've ordered some Tattu lipos.
All I need to do now is get a camera, headset and VTX. No idea what's good though.
Don't bother, /g/ only cares about consumer technology. Hobby electronics is too much for them.

i like it but rather spend my money on different things.

Installing gentoo right now, does the compiling ever end?
By the time it ends a kernel will be out.
>>56957091
i7?
>>56957585
I added the ~amd64 keyword so I haven't even got to compiling the kernel yet :^) I just check, upgraded 152/244 packages so far.

Should Google, Apple, Microsoft et. al. be split up because they are too large and have too much power? Also they pay no tax and produce shyte products.
Like AT&T's Bell Labs was in the 80's for the same reasons. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breakup_of_the_Bell_System
How would it effect the economy?
Interested in hearing from you learned flock.
No. Taxation is theft and your subjective opinion about the quality of products is meaningless.
>>56957012
1- yes
2- it won't, because they'll keep colluding as before, just with more people involved
3- pretty sure alphabet is google's attempt at circumventing the looming threat of breakup.
>>56957066
>taxation is theft
So how is a government suppsoed to have money to operate other than taxation?

or is my conception of god misguided?
I need to write this equation in python. What are some good resources to learn how to program math in python? Thanks
If you know how to write functions and use variables, then you have everything you need to write maths in all languages.
>>56956769
Took me 40 seconds. You are an idiot.score = 0
for i in xrange(0, cols):
for y in ACGT:
score += P(i,j) * math.log(P(i,j),2)
score = -score
>>56956858
Ah, "for j in ACGT" of course.
