I have one of the "fixed" Note 7s, should I return it? I like it, but don't want to get ISIS'd.
>>57031870
That's great, isn't it a thrilling phone to use?
>>57031870
Keep it, live on the edge you absolute madman
why would you return it? they're not going to refund your money immediately and you'll be phoneless, and the exploding thing is super rare
you'll probably be fine
Do I get one or not? It's the only think that looks remotely appealing since my phone is a hand grenade again
What appeal
Using one right now. Do it. Best decision of my life.

Chrome never used much RAM in the first place, it's just a meme you cuck.
Daily reminder that you shouldn't use Google Chrome.
Yes, Mozilla has its issues but they're far better than Google who want to control the internet and employ all those GamerGate assholes who are deploying AI to censor internet and get rid of anyone who opposes violent anti-male feminism and anti-gay/pro-family folks.
Uninstall Chrome now and start using FF or one of the forks.

Would you go with ATX or mini-ITX?
I have traditionally bought ATX but lately I've started to think I like m-ITX more. But in reality m-ITX rigs are noisy because of poor airflow and low sound isolation. It's because the case is just a small tin box with lots of fans inside. There's a limit to what size GPU you can have if you really want a small case and getting fresh air to it is a challenge.
If you ever want to run SLI or CF, good luck. Though it has to be said it has never worked out for me.
Maybe I'd still get m-ITX. I just think they are cute small things.
Mini-ITX.
>>57031601
I used to have a cosmos s case with load of space. But i swtiched to an Ncase m1 just for the fun of building something that tight.
Not i can have my pc on the desk instead of the floor and it looks so great. Its a real eye catcher.
Plus, it fits a GTX 720 Ti (or similar in size) a H80i and 4 2.5" SSD's. What more does one want?
So I just did a fresh Windows 8.1 installation.
Everything has gone fine, except the windows update thing is still "checking for updates".
Been like that for an hour already. Should I just leave it on overnight or is there some known fix for this shit?
People on google say "leave it on", but somehow I have trouble believing that.
Manually install a convenience rollup. It's already botnet anyway.
Windows Update is known to shit the bed, use WSUS offline to install updates instead
Also Microsoft released a patch to the updater a little while ago, look it up
>>57031503
Something's fucky fucky with the updates. But let it run. Took me about 2 hours to find all the updates on a fresh install.
Hey /g/, idiot here. How do I get my iPhone photos onto a PC without using itunes or apple software?
>>57031467
You don't.
It's as simple as that.
>>57031477
There aren't any apps for it?
dropbox?
>When it comes to code reuse, projects that used an object-oriented approach were able to take more than 70% of their code from previous projects. Subsequently, the projects that used functional design were able to take about 35 percent of their code from previous projects (McGarry, Waligora, and McDermott 1989).
OMG HOW ARE FUNCTIONAL TARDS EVER GONNA RECOVER FROM THIS #REKKING?

since html 5 and css 3 are a thing do i really have to learn javascript
You don't have to learn anything. Be useless for as long as you want
yes , for interaction purposes
but don't add to much javascript or else your site looks to shitty
and knowing javascipt will look good
>>57031181
No, you can just learn Nim instead, which compiles to, amongst other things, JavaScript.

The only thing to do is lock your door, make sure you stick foil balls to the edges all around. They don't like this for some reason.
If they capture you, don't reveal your source, please.

Why is Android such a slow degenerate piece of crap of an OS? I have an LG G4 and Android has always lagged on it. My girlfriend switched from a laggy Samsung Galaxy S5 mini to a shitty low-tier iPhone SE, and the iPhone outperforms my LG G4, it's embarrassing. We both use Adobe Photoshop Express a lot, and while my G4 struggles to render effects, especially noise reduction and grain filters, to the point of overheating and closing the app, her iPhone never chokes - and she never closes background apps, she doesn't even know why/how she should in the first place. My sister's Moto G4 plus with nearly vanilla Android lags even more than my G4.
Hell, even my Lumia 950 XL with Windows 10 Mobile outperforms my G4 with Android Marshmallow... Granted, the 950 XL has a slightly better processor, but c'mon!
