I was considering 144Hz WQHD (2560x1440) rather than 4K (3840x2160) so I can get the best of both worlds. Opinions?
I imagine running 144Hz 4K would not result in very smooth performance, even with SLI GTX 1080's.

Apple is hiring a lot of talent from British chip designer Imagination Technologies, the company that providesthe graphics processorfor the iPhone 7.
Apple confirmed in Marchthrough the London Stock Exchange that it had discussions to buy Imagination Technologies but that it ultimately did not make an offer for the chip company.
