Yeah seriously, what the fuck is google thinking? The only thing this piece of overpriced garbage has going for it is that new processor and camera sensor, but wait a few months and they'll make it into every flagship afterwards and will cost $600 maximum. Google had a potentially interesting phone, but they screwed up the pricing hard.

Why are CS students and people in tech generally so shitty and miserable? I've met a few good bros, but dear lord, the vast majority has severe special snowflake syndrome (h4ck3r, paranoia, NSA is watching me, illusory superiority) and very cringey cynical attitudes.

These people have zero interest in developing social skills. It would take these people literally 1 hour at the gym every other day and 1 hour grooming themselves a week to improve their appearance and life.

as far as I know, in a mac you cannot directly open a console in a folder, but instead you have to CD where you won't like a retard everytime. That's enough to make my developing life miserable

http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2016/10/pc-oems-ditch-the-custom-touchpad-drivers-give-us-precision-touchpad/

>Precision Touchpad made its debut with Windows 8. Co-developed between Microsoft and touchpad company Synaptics, the spec changed how Windows works with touchpads. Traditionally, touchpads masqueraded to Windows as essentially USB- or PS/2-connected mice—simple two-dimension, single-input devices.

HAHAHAHAHA FUCKING SERIOUSLY ???

Is this really why Wangblows laptops have always had such awful trackpads? Jesus it's no wonder you Chinkpad neckbeards praise the rubber nipple so much.

>Unfortunately, many PC OEMs haven't been equipping their laptops with Precision Touchpads. Microsoft's Surface Pros and Surface Books include them, as do a handful of others such as the Dell XPS 13 and HP's EliteBook Folio G1. But many others we've seen, such as the HP Spectre x360 and Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon, use custom drivers, typically from Synaptics. As such, they can't take advantage of the new Windows capabilities.

Welp, nothing more to see here. It's just business as usual in the Wangblows world: a perpetual state of stagnation and neglect thanks to third-party "partner" inertia.

I was just about to pick one of these up but I guess I won't. I'll just deal with lugging my bricktop around to see if surface pro 5 brings a fucking 4G modem and longer battery life than 2 hours.

Why does Linux have more drivers than BSD? Shouldn't the BSD license allow for more proprietary uses?
13 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
>>57084508
It's not about the license, anon. BSD has a very small userbase so companies don't boher making drivers for it.
>>
>>57084619
Did it ever occur to these companies that if they made drivers for BSD there would subsequently be more people using thus increasing it's marketshare?

>>57084645

0.18 cents per domain name a year. What the fucking shit? Does it look like I'm made out of money? Fuck off. It takes ZERO maintenances to run ICANN. Stop hiring pawns to reinforce your putrid agendas.

They literally throw everyone's personal information on the internet, while European country tlds have proven there is no need for that.

Lets say i haven't rooted my device and only use Google Play store for apps.

Is it possible to browse porn into the shadiest websites on earth without getting my device "infected" through pop up ads and other shit?

I come from a genuine place and just wanna see some naked hot babes on my Oneplus 2 without worrying about fucking my shit up
11 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
>>57084125
eh just browse ahead, there are barely any malware etc for phones out there
problem is that your phone probably sends browsing data etc to (((corporations)))
>>
>>57084185

I'm aware of that. But i wont be browsing anything illegal so i should be fine.
I'm asking this sometimes i'll get some pop ups and the device will start downloading something and stop before i can see what it was. If i check the download folder nothing is there which is odd
