So, I bought the Redmi Note 3 and went to activivate it when Verizon, but they said it wouldn't be capatable. Is there anything I can do?
>>57087380
Yes.
>>57087380
>Is there anything I can do?
Research such shit beforehand, maybe?
Isnt verizon CDMA? Of course that's going to be hard to find anything for, since this "standard" is abondoned about everywhere besides verizon.
Also:
>went to activivate it
Fuckin ass 'murrican carriers.
Why the hell do they need to "activate" my phone?
Everywhere else, you just pop in your sim, and that's it. No need for imei or any other shit. If its compatible, you are online, and if its not its your problem.
tl;dr:
>Is there anything I can do?
Move out of america, before Trump makes it even worse than it is already
>>57087509
And that would be?
Is it good?
>>57087146
sure.
>>57087146
It has good performance. It's bad at everything else.
>>57087325
Unless it runs CyanogenMod.

Also chip & pin doesn't prevent it from being used online
GoPro HERO5 Black
>399$
>4K 30FPS, 1080p 120FPS
>12MP stills
>video, timelapse, long exposure
>cinema grade imaging controls (protune)
>Raw DNG pics
>Stabilisation and defisheye effect
>Voice controls
>WiFi/BT
>GPS
Isn't that the perfect camera? I have the HERO4 Black and I am inclined to upgrade. HERO4 Black is around 250$ now if you're lucky.
HERO5 Session is priced at 299$ and does __nearly__ everything the Black does. GoPro made it this year.
>perfect camera
>1/2.3 inch sensor
no
Call me when something can shoot at least 480p at 1000FPS for a reasonable price.

Something like C++ Prime but for C# and Java.

Enjoy faggot.
Anybody knows something similar for Mathematics ?
Anybody here work remotely? I'm not talking about free-lancing. I'm talking real full-time "telecommuting" jobs. The kind where you have to fulfill certain criteria (I talked to someone at Bandcamp some time ago and they said they have remote meetings, I assume via google hangouts, skype, or slack, and they need to fulfill certain criteria like having at least 4 hours every day where your work overlaps with the work of other devs in your timezone).
I dunno what tools they use to keep in touch (above, those were just my guesses), how they document their code, how they hold their scrum meetings, etc.
So, what is it like? How do employers keep track of you and how do you keep in touch with other developers? What tools do you use for communication, etc? What is the typical workflow?
>>57086735
I work full time, 9-5 for a startup.
I'm part sysadmin and part programmer, so every day is something different whether it be fixing server issues or writing features for our product.
Almost everything we do is on google apps + google hangouts, though a few of us have pushed the higher ups to move to slack.
No one really keeps track of me, and no one cares what I do in a day as long as I am around when they need me and get my work done in a somewhat timely fashion.
The only thing I do as far as tracking is write a short (1-2 sentence) description of what I focused on that day.
Everyone we work with is in the same timezone and all but 2 are in the same country.
The workflow is a simple git + jenkins + nexus auto-deployment (that I configured for the company and am very proud of)
I'm 22 for context
