What do you guys think of Docker?
It's an ok package manager.
>>57124948
that's not what it is
>>57124962
Literally what it's useful for.
I'm not fucking spinning up 12 instances of ruby on fucking rails on a single box, so it turns into a kinda ok package manager.
So, are these ultrabooks confirmed good investment of garage?
Extremely good garage investment
Is this a parody post or are there actual chinks here shilling now?
>>57124922
Holy fuck, I just realized how much I fucked up. Yeah, one of those for garage would do well.
*or, garbage

What kind of laptop would you recommend that is both cheap and effective (like a Subaru), if I were interested in learning to program. Also, what version of Linux is best? Sorry if these types of threads are annoying.

>What are startpages?
Startpages (in the context of this thread) are locally hosted webpages (as in, the files are on your computer - not a server somewhere) that serve as the homepage or new tab page for a browser. They generally contain some number of links to frequently visited sites as the main element; search bars, clocks, calendars and other embedded items are usually added as secondary elements.

i don't know what this is, but systemd sucks balls
>can't alter log history
>can delete logs
>can block logging and log false events(?)
wow, great, who needs separate log servers, or god forbid, physical printouts
the modern solution is amazing yet again
i'm going to stop duplicating logs to hardened machines and start putting all my eggs in one smug germany basket.

+Jon Roadley-Battin in true Unix fashion, systemd is built from a number of independent but cooperating daemons. There's PID 1, there's journald, and there are a number of other processes. I am not sure where you are taking "one big monolithic process" from, that's completely made up. You are fudding. Please go away.

You might survive five pulls of the trigger but you're guaranteed to die at some point
Alright, so I worked a summer job and saved up some money to buy my very first gaeming computah, and before I start to assemble it, I just have a couple questions.
Should I bother with Windows 10 or should I just stick to Windows 7?
Should I bother with UEFI or should I just use Legacy BIOS?
Any advice would be great.
Install Gentoo
>>57124396
Download Windows 7 here: http://mirror.corenoc.de/digitalrivercontent.net/
Activate it using Dazloader
Windows 7 bb it is just the best, window 10 has to many problems to be reliable right now, and plus the constant updates. Just turn windows upateder off

>5-7 million Samsung customers will be switching to the iPhone 7 this year. This is mostly thanks to Samsung users who will lose faith in Samsung which will “have a tendency to like iOS and camera features, making the new iPhone an attractive sale”.
I'm not suprised they'd switch to iPhones
I'm expecting the Pixel to be a suprise hit because of this though

I'd actually consider it if there was a BB10OS version.

Will BB support BB10 2 years out?
