Remember this meme?

This was super popular years ago, having this compiz cube desktop, the GNUfags were all proud of it, "can Windows do this 3D cube desktop???"

It sure did stick, eh? Everyone's using it now right? We're all switching screens using a 3D Cube

The Linux desktop is truly setting standards

This is my chair
fuck this chair.
Any good ones around 100£ range? That would be able to withstand long sessions? Since i can't control my inner jew i bought this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Office-Computer-Chair-Desk-High-Adjustable-Mesh-Seat-Executive-Fabric-Furniture-/262559195749?var=&hash=item3d21bf6265:m:myEoZGJgVt-ThJcR4JZnPEg

hello.

Im some random drawfag but I want to create a game. I have pretty complex ideas for it. I was thinking to learn some coding. I could commission more advanced stuff to other people.

I was thinking of learning C#. How do I approach this, what kind of "coding software" to use ? Microsoft visual studio ? I know literary 0 about coding. I'm also 0 at math but i heard you don't need to know math to learn some coding.

I would like to create an old fallout art style game. The combat would be very similar and that's what I would want to aim for frist. Player and npc having tours, move on hexagon board, have some AI to fight player.

need some advice.

You should probably use an existing game engine like Unity. Good news, you can use C# with it.
>>
>>57147986
If you're on windows, you pretty much need to use visual studio.
As for learning it, just pick any book.
Make sure you do the exercises though. You'll skip some thinking it's all easy, then a little later you'll find yourself lost.
Sure, some of it is conceptual, but a big chunk of it is just doing practical stuff, learning how to think about problems in terms of programming.
I often hear people say, 'oh I know this shit, but as soon as im not being guided, I've no idea where to start!'. Not much you can do about it, but keep at it, the more practical stuff you do, the easier it gets.

Since drop day
Yes, satisfied. Got it so I couldn't take my battery out when I was too tired to wake up and the camera since I travel light and didn't want to lug a whole camera with me. Pic related.
No
Original installation
Over a day if I use it minimally. With apps maybe 8-10 hours not using GPS/blue tooth features. Just listening to music all day it will last at least 12 hours. Charges in about 45 minutes though using original charger.
No bugs so far. Closest thing is covering the front sensor shows me pocket mode which hasn't bothered me yet at all, but I haven't looked into it at all.

Yup, best phone I've ever had.

Yes

FreedomOS, without gapps
>>What's your battery life like?
7 hours SOT on a 3 day span
>>Which bugs or annoyances do you experience?
Night mode is built in but you only can toggle it. Would be nice if you could actually set a time of the day. Will probably be updated in the future tho.
No major problems found in the hw or sw. Phone is great overall.

What exactly is Windows good for beyond gaming?

It seems if you want to actually use your PC to do anything productive (i.e. not games) you're objectively better off using OS X or Linux.

Literally every business these days uses Windows because it just works and there's a ton of industry support for it. Sure Linux is better for certain specialized tasks but for the general public Windows gets most things done.

If I want to make a Presentation for a business meeting, you bet your ass I'm going to use Microsoft Office. No ones going to fiddle around looking for "GNU/Linux alternatives that respect my software freedoms and ideals" or a distro that works out of the box with a interface and broad range of applications ready to go.

>If I want to make a Presentation for a business meeting, you bet your ass I'm going to use Microsoft Office.
WSJ reported earlier this year that most fortune 500 companies were using Google Docs. Licensing on MS Office is down almost 70% from its peak.

Not saying Windows is going away tomorrow, but muh office isn't retaining anyone. It's more a function of professional support, existing contracts, familiarity, and platform lock-in.

But I want to use fingerprint password and PIN is obligatory, therefore this makes my system more vulnerabel because I'll use an easy PIN, like 1234. I already have a fucking password. I don't need this bullsit.

Windows is a vulnerable shitpile already, there's nothing you can do to protect it further.
