This image is so retarded I cannot believe someone actually put this together.
I also cannot believe someone so retarded that he was able to create the image (layout and such), but on the other hand creating the image (content).
There's always plan9 if you long for proper licensing mess.

GSDs are the biggest pussies. I've met one or two that are calm and intelligent, the others are scaredy-cat, neurotic weirdos. I even met one that had to be a good hundred pounds who would literally hide behind his petite female owner.
Belgian Malinois, on the other hand, are like the awesome cousin of the annoying GSD.

LMAO those teeth are ugly as fuck
I will never for the life of me understand how is it that an entire community involving thousands of people can't design a single, truly user friendly, comfy to use, bug free distro.
Enough is enough. Take lessons from Android. Put the users' need first. Simplify shit that does not need to be overcomplicated.
Or be content with 1% marketshare forever. But I guess some of you hipsters wouldn't mind that. It'd make Linux users seem more edgy and kewl.
werks on my machine.
>>57192180
Much as though I agree with said grievances, that is not the reason that Linux has a 1% marketshare.
99% of people have neither the interest nor skills to install a new OS. Even if the universal bug-free Nirvana distro were to exist (which it never will), unless computers shipped with it by default it would not catch on.
Is this the last day of the trolling bonus time period at Microsoft Shill Central?
It's not working.
KDE has always been synonymous with instability.
It took a while, but KDE 4 matured quite nicely and was finally rock-solid in terms of stability.
Then they went and fucked that up by replacing it with Plasma, which I used back in February and it was the most unstable, unusable piece of trash I had ever used.
How is it now? Don't really feel like downloading and installing unless it's better now
I was using Kubuntu for a few weeks and it crashed a lot. Also sometimes when logging in my display settings would be fucked up. Rebooting fixed it but it's really annoying have to reboot multiple times a day. Also had an odd issue where youtube videos would fast forward and not have any sound unless I restarted firefox.
>>57192230
Yeah my main problem with Plasma was that the window system kept crashing, so the windows titlebars and frames would just disappear but the actual program would stay on the screen.
What a piece of butt, why deprecate KDE 4 when Plasma is still obviously in beta?
>>57192108
KDE on Manjaro has been pretty stable for me. No real issue.
Can't say the same about KDE on any other distro I've tried though. (Debian, kubuntu, and arch)

At least give me something descriptive so I can find a solution

windows is closed source, you can't fix something yourself
do what it says, if it doesn't work, well, you're fucked

I hate those shitty "friendly" UI messages currently trending at Microsoft.
I'm not your goddamned friend, go fuck yourself and give me actually useful info, Pajeet.
I'm one of the Archivists (tag oddgoldengod). Imageboard archiving is complex.
I have a few thousand 4chan/gif/ threads archived in the following manner:
A folder containing every image and video downloaded with jDownloader with that name pattern:
>4chan org - Adult GIF - 9343211
A .maff archive with the html, css, js. A snapshot of the page:
>4chan.gif.9343211 - Feet_Footjob - Adult GIF - 4chan.maff
I want to put them both inside one tar/zip archive with the same name as the .maff.
I'm running Windows Server 2012 R2 with powershell installed.
I also have Hyper-V so I could create a linux VM if necessary, but I'm not too sure how I'd send files to the virtual machine without having to copy them across the hard disk drive.
Space is not a problem, file corruption is.
I'm running on a 16gb ram, i7 4790.
I intend to perfect the archiving process in the future.
7zip has cli commands you can script with
https://sevenzip.osdn.jp/chm/cmdline/syntax.htm
Might be a good place to start, I'd recommend just making a batch script to do it
I want a batch script, but I have no idea how to ven begin. I'm working class peasant. I only know Java.
The pic related javascript I started it in Java and slowly translated it to Javascript.
I'm hoping someone will make one, explain what he did and I'll just use it.
>>57191994
If they did that you would have no idea how to fix or improve on it.
It's a piece of piss really mate, batch scripting is as easy as it gets

Also not true, there is A6.0 for it, and 7.0 ROMs like CM.
I'm thinking of starting a business where I take old thinkpads and business grade dells, and refurbish them.
I am aware of other businesses that do this but, I have no idea where they get their stock.
Is there anywhere where I can get cheap semi working classic laptops in relatively large quantities?
>>57191793
the guy in my town buys them by the pallet as units with no battery/hdd/ram usually 50 to a pallet for pennies on the dollar from some chink supplier
When I was shopping around for my I found people selling 5+ thinkpads at a time for less than 200 on ebay (Thinkpad t61ps / t60s) In working condition.. I bet if you found some "for parts" ones you can get them for dirt cheap
>>57191793
Sorry mate. There's no profit margin to be had. Only Macs have any kind of potential for this.
I know some years ago was a big hype about Ubuntu Phones.
Why did it fail?
noapps
>>57191770
A few thousand people is still not a worthwhile market for a phone. And it weren't that many who wanted one.
no one wanted to buy it when there's android, it'd be amazing for me if they could dual boot with android, but it would fail anyway
So how soon before we get a phone with a Core m7-6Y75 processor?
Specs:
[2] x86 skylake cores, base: 1.2 GHz and turbo: 3.2 GHz
~3,500 multi-core passmark
~1,400 single-core passmark
HD 515 iGPU
Max TDP: 7 watts
>>57191748
is this a meem
>>57191748
>So how soon before we get a phone with a Core m7-6Y75 processor?
Never. 4.5W is too high.
>>57191748
>4.5W
>In a phone
Maybe if they make it one of those fuckhuge 7" tablet things because close to 5W is way too much for a tablet.
