Urgent help needed
I was watching YouTube on my laptop, and noticed that the DVD drive had fallen out in my backpack. I grabbed it and popped it back into the slot, only for my laptop to instantly die on a full battery. I've plugged it in (the outlet works), but not even the charging light comes on, and the laptop won't start. The drive is also very loose in there. What's going on and how to fix
I've tried taking it back out, removing the mouse USB base, and taking off the charger, plus simply closing the lid, but none of those in any combination work to do anything.

New hardware: GTX 1050 and 1050Ti will be released on the the 25th.
Rumor: Intel's Kaby Lake Pentiums (priced below i3s) will be two core with hyperthreading (2 c / 4 t) and could arrive before the end of the year.

Post your component list, rate other anons', ask questions in general.
Always state the purpose of your PC, your budget, AND YOUR COUNTRY if outside the USA. If you are asking for improvements, clarify whether you want to lower price, or improve specs or build quality.
If you see any other build advice or part list threads, please politely direct them here.

Then what's the point of i3? Those were the pentiums with hyperthreading. Where did you get this rumor from? Why is this thread posted here instead of /v/, since it's for /v/ purposes? What are you trying to accomplish? What was the point of this thread?
Reminder that AMD is a better choice at every price braket.
My younger sister who is 14 said she wants a computer for Christmas.
So I went and told my parents and they said I can have a budget of $150 and I said I would put $100 into it as well ($250). Is that even doable? The games she plays are like: facebook/browser/some steam games.
Just bought this thing. How'd I do?

So how to install win 10 without botnet ?

Spybot anti beacon
Peerblock with MS lists
Disable win tracking
There will be some conspiracy theorists leaking from /pol/ who will say with absolutely certainty that Windows can get around these programs. Ask for proof and you will see the have none, just theories and conjecture.

>WINDOWS WITHOUT BOTNET
THATS LIKE SAYING
>BOTNET WITHOUT BOTNET
IT CANT BE DONE!
>>57208878
You really can't.
Best you can do is grab a Enterprise ISO and then set the data collection to the lowest setting as that will only send diagnostic information at that point.

How is he angry? He is just being neutral.
Because Gnome proves itself incompetent yet again.
Is this actually supposed to replace even type A? I think it's way too brittle and unsuitable for anything bigger.
