Trying to find a projector for movies / conky script / general use. Would prefer if it was portrait or the screen size was configurable, but I have no idea where the tech is today on projectors. I'd be interested in shelling out for something thats high quality and wouldn't be obsolete immediately, but I don't want like cinema quality and I probably couldn't afford that anyway.
Where should I start looking, brand or spec wise? What price range would I be looking at with the description given? Or are projectors just not worth it at their current quality?

Now that the Note 7 is dead and Pixel is nothing compared to what Nexus has been, is the Axon 7 the canon choice (at least until the Mi Note 2 comes)?

I feel like Amazon is more admired here than MS; and google's a bigger influence than facebook on Silicon Valley programmers (but then I only know people in the Bay Area specifically.)
