I am studying software engineering in the four most important college in a thirld world taco shithole (Colombia).
Am I fucked?
No if you actually do shit outside of school. For that matter, you have less competition in Colombia than the US.
you're automatically disqualified from life by frogppsting

If you are good, you get a job.
Why does every DE looks like shit? The only acceptable and that actually looks like something made by a professional is Unity.
Programmers design things to suit their personal preferences and not the "preferences" regurgitated to them by expensive think-tanks and focus groups.
I like gnome3. None of the other DE's feel as comfy

Looks alright to me, you must have autism

Assuming money is no object, we agree the Razer Blade Pro is the best gaming laptop to buy right now, right?
>4K, G-Sync, 100% Adobe RGB Display with low latency and input lag
>GTX1080 "desktop" GPU
>32GB RAM
>2TB PCIe/NVMe RAID0 Storage
>"Mechanical keyboard"
>giant trackpad
>plethora of inputs
>less than an inch thick
>~7lbs
>machined aluminium body
Seriously - outside of a SOMEWHAT disappointing CPU (one step away from the best from intel's mobile offerings), it checks every.single.box.
It'll have shit battery life and that goofy logo... but other than that, it leaves me wanting nothing.
I got the Asus version of a similar build and adore it.

Holy fuck, this is a thing now?
INSTALLING WIN7 SHOULD I DISABLE UPDATES?
uh.. sure?
>>57257790
I'd say leave automatic updates turned off and compile a list of updates that you shouldn't install (such as KB2670838 (the one that breaks aero) and the Windows 10 spyware updates). Also, before you install any new ones, I'd say look up the updates before installing any of them in case there are anymore of the bad ones.
>Windows 7
>Implying you'll be able to connect to the update servers anyways

All it needs is a cabinet

The cabinet is the hardest part man
And don't use X-Cade, just please don't
Hyper-Spin would be worth the money if its NAOMI and NAOMI 2 emulation wasn't so shitty. Don't even get me started on its terrible Taito Type X booter; you're better off getting those games on Steam.
Otherwise, you're wasting money on an HDD filled with ROM's, something you could have done by yourself with a Raspberry Pi.
About to replace my failing Deathadder with a Rival 300 because nothing else seems to peaky interest and I know too little about Logitechs line.
Oppositions?
I should have used 'dying' instead of failing. It's an old 3g deathadder

>we want the hipster artfag audience
Is microshit retarded?
>>57257481
actual artist audience is a small market
this device is targeted to artist wannabe millenials which a far bigger market

Apple has been chasing away the creative professionals for a long time now.
Microsoft is looking to scoop them up with open arms by filling Apple's old niche of expensive and beautiful computer workstations for creative work.
Everyone knows Photoshop runs better on Windows and the Mac version is literally just the windows version with a cocoa emulation layer on top.
I have no fucking clue what is going on, I have looked at Vram usage as well as ram. When im playing a game like fallout 4, I this god awful stuttering. Its like the frame rates drop to 0 for a femtosecond, and then back to 60fps. It happens about 2 minutes into the game.
Games affected:
Rust
Bioshock
Skyrim
Fallout 4 (seems to be the worse)
System specs:
-i5 3330 @ 3194Mhz
-8gb DDR3
-R9 290 4gb Vram
-PNY ssd 240gb
-WD Black 1tb
>all drivers are up to date
Edit: so after trying to capture this for a webm. I noticed that if i backout of the game and return , the chugging/choppiness stops. In-addition to this, it seems to if my frames are to high. Maybe if they are above about 70? Im still lost on causes this. Wat do?
get more/faster ram
disable pagefile to see if that helps, it will either solve the issue or make the games crash each time a stutter happens
basically those shitty programs are leaking memory and your program stutters every time your os writes to the pagefile
also moving your pagefile to ssd will reduce the duration of stutters, although wouldn't prevent them
it might also be some other thing youre running alongside those programs thats leaking memory
Make sure you completely uninstall old graphics drivers and then reinstall. I have a 270x and sometimes i have to reinstall drivers like 3 times before they work properly. I get the same symptoms youre having about half the time i update my drivers.

check temps
disable antivirus/security shit
install gentoo
is this true?
nah. eventually the masters realize they don't need to reinvent the wheel to use the computer.
Agree.
>>57257149
But was windows who reinvent the wheel.
Does being a software engineer makes women wet?
Also, what degrees does makes women moist the most.
I assume web development is bottom tier and IT is also bottom tier.

Why is this botnet everywhere?
>>57256909
Because FOSS dropped the ball and never offered a robust way to richly view statistics about the users who visit your site. Google identified a vacuum and made a solution for it. Now we're stuck with it and there's no free software solution anywhere close to feature parity with Analytics.
I have it blocked by noscript.
It's useful if you're the one who owns the webpage, but as a user you should have it blocked.
