The current internet is too bloated. Let's make one of our own. I have a couple of wires. Where to start?

Stick one end of a wire that you're holding into an outlet without letting go. Hokd the other one between your teeth and wait for a signal.

Time is money so you're saying I get free money from installing Arch? Awesome!

I don't understand your argument about Arch being time-consuming. Arch is by far the lowest maintenance distro I've ever used.

Ignoring the retarded "muh blocker is better lol" argument. This list makes it clear a lot of people are using software specifically to remove ads and other spying functions.

what does it take to be considered an "IT" guy these days?

>The hackers carefully disguised the link using a service that shortens lengthy online addresses. But even for anyone checking more diligently, the address — "google.com-securitysettingpage" — was crafted to appear genuine.

>staffer Charles Delavan in Brooklyn, New York, wrote back 25 minutes later: "This is a legitimate email. John needs to change his password immediately."

>Tod Beardsley, a security research manager at the Boston-based cybersecurity firm Rapid7, said the fact that an IT person deemed the suspicious email to be legitimate "pretty much guarantees the user who is not an IT person is going to click on it."

So basically I want to become a GNOME developer (I have a very precise target to accomplish). So I'm thinking of starting my programming with C.

I do know a bit of a python but that's irrelevant.

Any guide lines?

I have this fucking laptop that my parents got me a while ago. It's good so far but how the hell do I get things to go into D, my other fuckin harddrive.

For example if I try to torrent something with the limited space I have left it will just not complete it. If I try to do download a game or something on steam it wont complete it. FUCK.

getting real annoyed here

Just select the install location as the D drive.

Are you retarded?
>>

I steal open source code and add it to my proprietary projects. Is there any risk of getting caught?
17 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>57291034
perhaps
>>
If your proprietary software competes with the open source version it's trivial to compare binaries and find matches for identical compiler symbols.
Changing variable names doesn't change anything because they still compile down to the same machine code.

The only way to avoid this would be to heavily rewrite the open source code to the point where it no longer resembles the original, but at this point, you might as well write it from scratch.
