What are some couch computing must-haves? I'm looking into buying a 55" 4K and connecting my desktop to it, but I wanna have it be as convenient as possible (i.e. not having to slouch over the coffee table with a wireless keyboard and mouse or have a desk pad resting on my lap the whole time). I'm looking for any recommendations - software, peripherals, adapters... Really anything that helps make the couch experience just as practical as it is relaxing.
I already own pic related, but it's garbage. Garbage keyboard, garbage trackpad. Is there something similar that works better?
>>57485771
Haven't tried it myself, but there is a wireless "Thinkpad" keyboard with clit mouse.
>>57485771
Ive found the best pointing device for couch surfing is an Apple trackpad. Unfortunately a Mac Mini will only do 30fps on a 4k tv, but I did use a Mac Mini with my 1080p tv just fine. An ergonomic keyboard is good to have if youre using a wireless keyboard on your lap, the MS ergonomic keyboard with chicklet keys worked for me and it comfortable because it has a smooth flat bottom.
>>57485791
I've seen that, though I'd like to avoid bluetooth if possible. Plus I'm not sure how the clitmouse would fare on a 4K screen... I'll put it on my list, but I'm not sure if its worth the $65.

Which browser(s) do you use and why?
>>57484542
I use Google Chrome because it has everything I need and is faster than Firefox.

I don't. In fact I don't even use an OS, or drivers or any kind of hardware: I have the ability to read binary code and run it in my mind. Fuck assembly.

Why don't you own one? Don't you want our own portable computer that can run actual operating systems?

I have an HP Mini, does that count?
Shit's slow as fuck though
This is my UX280p that I got recently for about 200 pounds.
Replaced the 40GB HDD with a 128GB SSD, as well as replacing the old wireless card with a newer Intel one.
Also, as you can see on the first image, I've just installed LXLE 16.04 onto it, took no time at all.

Main reason for purchase though, was for nice lighting during sex and at night time.

First build, please give advice.
>>57481059
Why the 1050ti? I'm not sure your space requirements cause you are going microatx so maybe you want a slim build, but I'd prefer the 470 at this point even though it's a bit more, seems like nearly twice the value for 50 bucks more.

>>57477029
Because it's more stable, ships with a better default DE which a beginner wouldn't want to mess with and change, Is faster in almost every way, and has a better package manager.
Only con I can think of is the tiny software repository compared to Ubuntu, but it has everything most normies will need and want.
