Just plug a 3.5mm cable into the headphone jack of your ipod and the other end into your computer's microphone line in.
Use Audacity to record your music one at a time. This has never failed me.
Mediamonkey do what you want, so I assume musicbee will too since they are the same thing.

Is there any FOSS program that's better than the paid option?
Would agree to everything you said but
>itunes
Are you braindead? iTunes is the biggest piece of shit ever.
You think itunes isnt shit?
Why are social media sites by Google so shit?
Almost always when I visit Google+ or YouTube, it consumes the whole memory and eats up battery quicker. Not to mention it takes forever to load.

Engineers don't understand people.
Does any one else look at the current state of technology and have a feeling that it didn't live up to the promises that it made you?
Numbers may be getting bigger, but there's more demand from this, with less being done for all of that. We may have connection speeds many times faster than even a decade ago, but there seems like far more junk data.
And fast computing is being put behind animations and visual effects.
I can see why I hear of so many people going back to things like BBS, Usenet, and Gopher. It's small, yes, but it also makes so promises it can't deliver on.

I feel like we haven't progressed much in the last 6 years since software has just become a bloated mess compared to what we had before.

When I was a kid I imagined that we would have a ton of AR shit, like glasses and navigation in cars. Driving cars are cool but no one seems to really care. Shit even VR headsets have been tried over and over but you basically only get things to look at or shitty simulators.
So yeah I feel you on that
So /g/ whats the proper way to apply thermal paste?
>>57501270
semen
>>57501270
you here to start a fight?
this is the only right way:
take some mayonnaise and gently rub it on the CPU like wikipedia told you to. now use your pc for a few hours and open it back up. lick the mayo residue off like a good little slut and repeat the process.
in all honesty, it depends on your thermal compound.
for example artic silver 5 doesn't spread well so the line method works wonders. but thermal paste with more viscosity spreads well, so the pea in the middle method works best.
Do you have any opinions that would trigger /g/? Post them here.

If you actually want any sort of a portability definitely get USB.
Not only do you need to plug an external in everytime it will actually degrade and eventually kill the power supply.
If you're never going to move it, or turn it off, yeah go for it.
I am attending a 2 hour talk tomorrow by Bjarne Stroustrup titled

If you need to ask us what questions to ask, you should not be asking questions.

We purchased a 4k 50" tv from lg (pic related) this morning and i am now looking for the best sites to stream and possibly torrent 4k movies/ documentaries and shows from. Anyone know of a good site? I know netflix has SOME movies in 4k, and theyre all shit. Any good FREE sites for streaming in 4k? Torrent sites would be great too since kat was taken down months ago.

1. Doesn't have a touchscreen
2. Isn't an Apple product
3. 8+ hours of battery life
4. Good keyboard
5. Reasonable power for compiling code
6. Portable
7. FULL HD screen(I see 1366x768 one more time I'm going to kill myself).
8. Build quality isn't some tacky plastic shit.
Is there anything like this?
>>57497404
a thinkpad ?
well, you want a business-class laptop, however you'll have trouble finding a decently-priced one with a 1080p screen (they usually just put 480p or 720p screens on business laptops because they assume that you'll be supplied with an external monitor setup if necessary)
>>57497404
hinges scratch your desk
top heavy
more expensive than a 15" MacBook Pro
keyboard base and battery cannot charge the tablet part
when closed it's thicker than it should be due to a strange gap from the hinge design
You know what to do.
>>57497190
deep learning or some shit?
With that many 1080's you've got GPGPU power of a mid 2000's university computing cluster.

I'm trying to install an iso on to my windows 10 laptop. I want to completely remove windows but the disk setup is labelling / as Windows 10. Would it be best to wipe it outside of the installer first? I'm not sure if it is doing what I need it to already and just labelling it as windows 10 or if windows 10 is still going to be there (I have set it to format).
