I bought several apps on the Palm Pre WebOS Store, then switched to Android where I bought lots of apps on the Android Market and a few on the play store.
After receiving updates from 2.2 to 5 I realized they won't fix the issues because they don't interpret the issues as issues so I switched to iOS.
I also bought several applications and videogames for PowerPC Macintoshes. All that software does not work anymore on the five and a half grand MBP.
I bought a 99 cent app on the Mac App Store, which I will have to ditch when I make a new AppleID.
It's going to be even more brutal when Valve goes bankrupt, then I'm going to lose nearly half a hundred of paid softwares at once.
I'd say I always betted on the wrong horse and now I'm broke and living with my parents again.
Coicidence? I'm no expert, but living my life sucks ass.

I started getting this message a few days ago whenever I try to post from home.
I'm on Verizon FIOS. I can still post on other boards, just not /g/. Currently posting from work. (I can also post from my phone).
Is Hiro trying to extort me to buy a 4chan pass or is this an honest mistake? I post in /sqt/ all the time when I'm home and it's really annoying not being able to help people out.
Has anyone else experienced this, either here or on other boards?

That's almost true.
They can't surveil you if you don't use their services.
And access to knowledge had to be done in a much more recordable way, ie buy or borrow books by essentially signing your name somewhere.
While it is much different than the internet we were used to, it's much more like "real life" now.

I have never bothered with SSDs before until my HDD died earlier today on my laptop so I just bought a SSD. The laptop have been a bit sluggish, but now it's lightning fast. I never knew why my computer was so slow, I assumed it was the RAM, but it never peaked. And the CPU was never in much use either, but apparently it was the HDD holding back the computer. It's so weird how fast it is now!

hey /g/ i have a problem with xcfe , im pretty sure that installed arabic and french and added to the text entry supported language and to the keyboard layout and to the ibus preferences , but this language indicator plugin still doesnt work and when i change the language to arabic or to french , it still writes in english . any solution for this ? , i also should say that i had some problems with the indicators plugins like for the example the logout doesn't work but it works from the terminal or whisker menu so if you know a way to install another plug in that changes languages in the panel that would be nice
