so i fell for the G4 meme, had it unlocked, got bootlooped, repaired with warranty, now its locked again and keeping it on 5.1 because of root.. still the best phone ever but i feel the need to upgrade and didnt find any decent phone that i can go for..
can /g/ suggest anything? mostly with removable batteries and sd card slot and a good fucking camera, am even open for xiaomi and sorts IF they work in europe, need to check that
TL;DR - have a G4 and want to upgrade

I've never used a linux distribution in my life before (windows only), and I dont have much experience with coding and advanced computing like many of you, but based on a very little bit of research, I want to give Solus a try
Would you recommend Solus as a good distribution for a complete novice?
What do I need to know to make the experience worthwhile?
How do I even install Solus? I'm planning on buying a thinkpad or something (as my old laptop died) to try it out
Are there any limitations Solus will have over Windows? (I dont really game so that's not an issue)

Why does Windows 10 font rendering suck so bad, senpai?
This shit-tier grayscale rendering was also present in 8.1 by default, but it was possible to switch back to RGB. With Windows 10 you can't do that anymore.
