Windows 10 sucks at iso. I mean it's native in windows explorer but if I open an iso as, say, drive H: everything else I try just opens the existing H:.

I need to open one .iso as H: and open the same .iso as I: at the same time.

Is there a way to do this in win10 without additional software?

What's your backup solution?

I'm using a software called DSynchronize to copy personal files to an external HDD every week.

I want to change it though, would like something that could keep different versions of the files for a specified ammount of time.

Frequent rsyncs to a NAS that has snapshots enabled, and syncs itself to a second offsite NAS for current working files, tools, and the OS.

Long term things go into Git Annex; I have a couple of local copies, a remote backup of the metadata, and a data backup in Google Nearline.

Has anyone tried these "netbooks"? I'm going to use it mostly for college, taking notes, recording lectures and stuff. For $200 they seem alright.
I mean, 4GB of ram and a 64GB SSD should be enough for a relative good web performance? But I heard that the celeron n3050 is a piece of shit, and compares to old low clocked C2Ds.

Themes:
>Muze 2 (my favorite)
>Flat6
>Anemone (as theme engine)

Tools/practical:
>AdBlocker 2 (iOS 8+9)
>OpenSSH
>mTerminal (terminal emulator)
>Apple File Conduit 2 (transfer files without iTunes/third party chinkware over USB)
>Blur Remover (saves battery)
>BreadcrumbsAway (removes "back to xyz app" from status bar)
>Power Tap (Android-like power menu)
>Wifi - The Strongest Link (more wireless options and tweaks to improve wireless connections)
>StatusModifier (free RAM in status bar)
>exKey (adds the number keys to the top of the main keyboard page so that you don't have to go to secondary keys to get to it)

Other:
>Springtomize (a million and one customization options)
>revealMenu Original (3D touch on older devices, cool but shitty after the novelty wears off)
>LinkTunes (pirate music from iTunes)
>Fortune (browse this shithole)
>Eclipse (change system UI colors, useful for system wide dark mode)

I need a new monitor and have been looking at 4K monitors because I'm a programmer. My thinking was to get a 4K monitor because that would allow me to display more text on my screen.

I'm not made of money so I've been looking at cheaper 4K options and it seems there's some pretty good deals for 27" 4K monitors.

However, a buddy of mine told me that there's no way that I'll be able to use 27" monitor at its native resolution because the text will be too small.

Hmm.. is he right? So 4K is a just another meme?
