DAILY REMINDER THAT XANAX SUPPORTERS ARE LIBERALS WHO HATE ELITISM AND WANT THE NEXT MUSIC TRACKER TO BE FLOODED WITH PAJEETS OUT OF MUH INCLUSION.

Not sure what private trackers are all about?
The mission of /ptg/ is to promote the highest possible standards of tracker service by providing members with opportunities for professional development, by recognizing technical competence through examinations and by advancing the interests of its members.

>Staff occasionally read these generals and have posted here before.
>This is a thread for educational purposes only don't offer or ask for invites.
>Staff may pretend to be normal users asking for invites and when you invite them, they ban you for inviting strangers
>People may report emails and other personal info posted here to staff to get you banned.
>Most of the invite offers here are people trolling you with false hope - begging for invites is a waste of time

Hi All,
I have been trying to install Tails and then encrypt it with Veracrypt. I cant figure out if im supposed to encrypt the drive first or after installing tails. I cant find any clear or concise guidelines using these two products together.
Can any of you guide or let me know.
I know which is the strongest encryption method
just to note im installing tails on a microsd

This thread is for the appreciation of the Ubuntu operating system.
The discussion of the various Ubuntu Distributions and GUI's.
And opinions on other Linux OS's other than Ubuntu.

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called "Linux", and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.
There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called "Linux" distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.

Serious question - no memes.
Is paper finished? The only benefit of using paper over an electronic alternative is for art, literally everything else has been superseeded.
>Writing - Touch typing / dictation
>Sketching - so many programs for this, with HD screens
>Posters / advertising - Digital advertising
??
What's superseed?
Yes, so is fire
What about Origami? Well motherfucker?
So let's say I want to stay anonymous. Yes, that's impossible, but lets try as close we can get while being online.

Ok guys. I'm in college now, so I don't have a lot of money on me now. I'm thinking of whether to get a 3DS or a new custom built pc.
>Why a 3DS?
Because I'll usually be outside, I'll seldom spend time in my dorm. So It'll help me get through times of boredom like waiting in the train, etc.
>Why I want a pc?
So that I can have access to much wider library of games. I would be able to enjoy games with better graphics.
>Why not buy a used 3DS or used PC parts?
Doing so would at most only save me about a 100-150 usd at most. It'll not change my overall budget, I'm on a tight budget now.
Thanks in advance.
