New month, time to donate to Firefox, don't you agree anon?
Is December the worldwide money begging month or something?

They can fuck off with their shitty copied from Chrome browser. I will never understand why they did this.
>>57792748
STOP MAKING YOUR BROWSER INTO CHROME YOU FUCKS. THE ONLY REASON PEOPLE USE IT IS BECAUSE OF ALL THE FEATURES THAT MAKE IT NOT CHROME.
YES I'M MAD
If you were a graphics card, what would you identify as and why?
I'll start.
I am a Nvidia GTX 960. I'm cheap, nobody wants me; however I offer a decent value at a low cost.
>>57792735
how about we identify as the graphics card we currently own? like how people's dogs look like them?
>>57792735
Definitely the GTX970.
Most people were thinking it was going to be an insanely good card and thrash t he competition but it's actually a disappointment after a certain threshold.
>>57792788
tfw you own a 970
Question for any vidya nerd
Currently AM3 socket and I'm looking to upgrade. The best CPU this mobo supports is 1100T 6 core which scores ~8400 on Fire Strike physics. For roughly the same price is the FX-8350 which scores ~9300 on Fire Strike physics but I'd need to buy a new motherboard. So basically is ~900 difference between the two worth the additional money it would cost to get a new motherboard. This computer is only used for gaming.
>>57792714
Get an intel or wait for Zen
/thread
>>57792790
I checked the i3-6100 but it scores ~7000 in Fire Strike physics which is lower than the 1100T and FX-8350.
>>57792790
Is there an intel CPU for less or equal price to the FX-8350 but scores same or better in Fire Strike physics?
Is an 8gb video card worth it? I plan on upgrading eventually but I'm only playing at 1080p.
>>57792603
Yes, textures are only getting larger.
For 1080p no.
Totally unnecessary.
>>57792628
Majority of textures in modern well written engines are compiled and cached on disk and loaded on the fly, you don't need ginormous amounts of ram on the card because SSD are lmaofast now.
hey /g/ I want to buy a T20, Pentium G3220 / 3 GHz - RAM 4 GB
Can I run RHEL on this? if not, what alternative would you suggest as first server.
inb4> install gentoo
What do you want your server to do? It sounds like it'll just sit around and turn electricity into heat.
>>57792670
Learning the RHEL environment
Planning and installing the network
Examining the RHEL operating system
Executing basic commands
Editing files
Creating and managing user accounts
Configuring file systems and local storage
Managing logs, software, and other systems
Implementing local RHEL security
>>57792769
if you want to play with RHEL, you can do it on a VM, or on a $20 BananaPi...
Let's get this straight once and for all:

If you want to compute a*2^n use a<<n-1 instead of a**2 or whatever. It's faster.

Clearly, you also forgot that you are mentally retarded.
So, /g/, what have you been training your neural network to do?
Self bump even though you can't self bump.
Here's a helicopter that learned how to fly by itself using a neural net.

Video doesn't load for me but I'll give ya a bump, neutral networks are chill. I'm excited to see deepmind play SCII
Bump. Hey what are fun ways to get into machine learning? Fun projects to do?

Frame limit via RTSS.

isthisthefaceofautism.jpg
>>57792110
You don't "need" any frame rate. 60fps is a luxury. 30fps is a luxury. Playing video games at all is a luxury.
120/144fps just happen to be very luxurious luxuries, at least compared to 60fps.

Is it worth buying a surface book if Microsoft won't let you root it?
Just buy a MacBook Pro
>>57791625
But I want to game
>>57791641
Gaming will be shit on either devices, Macbooks have better price/performance ratio than surface books and you can bootcamp Windows either way.
