Formatting my 3.0 TB HDD was taking over 4 hours and was likely stuck, so I did a quick format just to get it running.
Question:
Has the progress of doing a full format done anything? It was at at least 90%...does that mean 90% of the drive is zeroed? I'm asking because I've got a sticky sticky bug which might me lurking on other HDDs than my main drive.

/g/ please help me you are my only hope.
I have bought a Dell Inspiron 15 7559-1188. It is a very beautiful and nice laptop, perfect for my beautiful and nice self. HOWEVER, it has Windows 10 on it, and something is up.
The OS is fucking LAGGING. It takes so long to get anything done. I restored the OS to basic settings with a fresh install and then found that it was fast and as perfect as could be. Installed the graphics driver and other drivers fine. Restarted the computer and then after its fresh boot it began downloading loads of fuckin apps by itself. Facebook, Twitter, etc. And the laptop is now fucking lagging like crazy.
CPU, memory etc usage hovers around normal idle percentages, so nothing is hogging all the resources.
WHAT could be causing this if it isn't any of the drivers? And WHY THE FUCK are apps installing themselves JESUS CHRIST

What do you /g/uys use for cloud backup?
It's for some business files, it's not going to be a lot I assume, so I want one to start that gives me like 10GB free, then options to upgrade.
been looking at Jottacloud, MiMedia and iDrive anything better?
-10GB between at least 3 computers.
- Backup, not storage. I want this to be automatic for my bro in law's home PC's and he isnt all that tech savvy.
- little to no ads and pop up messages. as light and unintrusive as possible
- obviously security is necessary but not storing cp or anything just need something reliable.

I don't like MiMedia because you cant save .exe or .zip files and stuff. products like onedrive and google drive etc only back up files that you add to their folder... I guess I could add shortcuts probably somehow to make others folder automatically sync up, but i prefer to pick a list of folder on the PC that i want to backup. and onedrive is like 5GB which is shit. i know there are better options. iDrive seems to be the best one i can find, but i hate all the damn pupups that they send to the computer. even if i do get a little less storage, I want something unintrusive.

My motherboard had to get RMAd for repairs and so my PC has been disassembled for almost 3 weeks now and probably won't be put back together for another 1 or 2 more weeks.
My 850 evo hasn't been powered on once, should I expect data loss or is that shit just a meme.
