Modern Java is as fast as C++ in most scenarios.
Why didn't apple just put a hdmi, usb and sd card adapter in the charger?

Why do you insist on keeping around the old and dated.
Just move the fuck on.

>Using computers
Computers are obsolete apple will soon remove the trackpad, the keyboard and even the screen
Curious about what happened to my computer. I turned it on, lights and fans came on like normal, then turned off for 2 or 3 seconds, then came back. PC has never done this before, is only 7 months old etc...
Any ideas?

Check out /x/ , Sounds like a demon more than anything g related.
Check for crazy ants living in the computer. Sounds like their electrical discharge scattered your boot proximeter and caused it to reset.
When did this board become /b/?
Would this really work?
Yes it would. People respect the self starter more than the lemming.
And if you have your own high quality blog detailing your experiences, showing off your projects, you're already light years ahead of your peers.
Bonus points: take out a student loan and use the money to study on your own.
Thing is, it's hard to stay motivated going the autodidact route. Lots of people need a teacher to assign them, and a teacher to stay on their back about completing assignments. If that's not you, good shit.
>>57816628
yeah being extremely qualified should be good

Isn't that excessive?
Why is there so much of the same shit? Why did IRC fail?

I love IRC, but personally teamspeak and steam are mainly used for gaming, the rest. are pretty nuts.

Why this fucking form factor still exists?
There are m.2 and msata drives with capacity up to 2TB. Why producers still waste space inside mobile devices for 2,5" form factor? WHY?
Answer me /g/
ぬるぽ
it is a good pocket size dimension that still follows the standards
>>57816447
It's 7 times bigger than mSATA standard, which deliver same capacity, same speeds, much lower power consumption and almost no heat.
Trust me /g, I love linux but sometimes it drives me crazy
Like why the fuck you have to write BASH before running a BASH script in BASH

Do sleep cycle apps really work?
>>57815618
bump
what does "work" mean in this context?
>>57815738
Regardless of whether they improve your health, I'm interested if they do produce accurate data of my sleep patterns.
if I buy the pixel phone from verizon, do I have to wait on verizon to push the update, or will I get the updates straight from google?
Google forces carriers to agree to not tamper with or skin or intercept the updates of Google phones in order to be allowed to sell them.
You'll get the updates straight from Google.
>>57815400
i dunno
>>57815421
I have a Pixel XL purchased from Google and the first update I received did some AT&T-specific crap (disabled tethering, for one thing).
HEY KIDS! I'VE JUST INSTALLED ARCH RIGHT NOW ON SPATRY'S CUP OF LINUX!!!

You literally have the "hide password" option. Easier than retyping.
Who's gonna see your password anyways, your mom when she comes down in your basement?
Whats the best desktop for people with more than one monitor? Most desktop environments feel like they were built for one monitor. Currently kde seems to have the most support but it can be buggy.
>>57814770
Windows 10, linux support for multiple desktops sucks
>>57814770
Even Xfce will work fine. What bug did you see in KDE?
>>57814770
Xfce works quite well. I3 claims to have good support. On the other hand, now I'm on KDE and there is not even a damn option to choose on which monitor a panel is displayed. Also plasma crashes each time a monitor is disconnected.
