I am going travelling and need recommendations for the cheapest possible laptop capable of running Adobe CC at a reasonable level. Year/model etc.
I've never owned a laptop before and don't really like designing on them but I have no choice. I have been using an iMac for the past 5 years and would really like to stick with Apple without paying over 2 fucking grand for a new macbook. I'm quite happy to buy used. Would consider a non-Apple laptop too if priced reasonably
>laptops with numeric keypad
Name something worse than this
So who are the 1.9% of dimwits that spend money on mobile games?
Why did google decide to blatantly copy apple's invention all those years ago (the smartphone)? When will people STOP copying apple and start coming up with original inventions?
If so, is it any good?
>decide three months ago to get back into Linux
>pick Arch as my distro of choice and Plasma for the DE
>/g/ tells me Arch always breaks on updates and Plasma regularly crashes
>haven't seen a single bug or broken update to this day
WTF?? Did /g/ lie to me?
can I top this setup for my thesis writing? : two computer sharing a git repo, for comunication I use a shared remote to a dropbox folder that collect branches on both machines. When prefixed with the right names it works flawlessly
I've been thinking of putting a server for this and maybe a smtp but seems overkill

>Be careful of CIA niggers recommending you flash unusal firmware.

Today's internet is an ad cesspool of crying bitches claiming that pages could not survived if it weren't for the 90% ad content of their pages but remembering the early internet, there were literally no add on the pages, mostly raw informative content.
internet and computers for nerds, and made by nerds. then around the early 2000's is when i remember retard corporations testing the waters. shit started to noticeably go down hill around 2005 timeframe. feels bad man.
>Update firefox 52 by accident while doing settings
>firefox no longer wants to display images, gifs, webms, etc if viewed on a separate page
>Shit fuck roll back to 52 asap
What the fuck is this shit that happened, I'm about to just switch to one of those gay alternatives like pale moon if I don't figure out how to unfuck myself.
I just moved to pale moon and everything works just fine. Only took half an hour to move all my shit over because most of it doesn't even work due to firefox's current horseshit changes.
is acer inherently bad as a monitor company? im looking through this item an it seems to be exactly what i want other than being made by acer who i have a distrust for am i overlooking something here? and will any of this even be relevant in feburary when i get my tax refund? please dont suggest anything else unless it has the same features at a lower price i wil not compromise
Why is it that the vast majority of people with an IQ in excess of 160 use Lenovo ThinkPads?
Most people that are good at math have the ability to compare price per value, with deep knowledge of consumer markets. Plus they use statistical data before making a financial decision.
Im in the market for a new headset/mic....
Scold me into the right decision /g/
OK, which one of you faggots did this?
>Not your normal Friday night in the computer room.
>Not a normal night anywhere.
>Terry is the archetypal old-school Unix admin, nurturing servers with care and precision while avoiding the latest trendy garbage. KDE and Gnome on a server? Nope, if you need a GUI use FVWM.
>The latest trend Terry refuses? One adopted almost everywhere? Systemd, the replacement init.
>So Systemd comes for Terry.
>Wearing skin-tight leather pants.
>No, not a normal night in the computer room at all…
