I am going travelling and need recommendations for the cheapest possible laptop capable of running Adobe CC at a reasonable level. Year/model etc.

I've never owned a laptop before and don't really like designing on them but I have no choice. I have been using an iMac for the past 5 years and would really like to stick with Apple without paying over 2 fucking grand for a new macbook. I'm quite happy to buy used. Would consider a non-Apple laptop too if priced reasonably

Any suggestions?

can I top this setup for my thesis writing? : two computer sharing a git repo, for comunication I use a shared remote to a dropbox folder that collect branches on both machines. When prefixed with the right names it works flawlessly

I've been thinking of putting a server for this and maybe a smtp but seems overkill

Today's internet is an ad cesspool of crying bitches claiming that pages could not survived if it weren't for the 90% ad content of their pages but remembering the early internet, there were literally no add on the pages, mostly raw informative content.

There good at basic cheap monitors. They just got too big for their britches.

I find LG to be bad as a monitor maker. I've had around 20 of their products from tvs to business monitors all die short lives.

I have an Acer 240hl as my main monitor and it's very nice and worked for like 4+ years.
