Factory reset on Android is fucking garbage.
I'm trying to rid my phones (Galaxy S5; Android 5.01 and Galaxy S3; Android 4.3) of any and all data on it. Resetting via factory reset or the recovery menu still leaves traces of data which is what I'm trying to avoid. I reinstalled a few apps I used on them before after the reset and the account information is available and connects right away. I've read that encrypting the phone helps with that issue, but the thing is, that I need to reset the phones at least once a day.
tl;dr How can I quickly delete any and all data on them without leaving a trace?

Use something like Odin to do a complete reflash of everything past ABoot. This means get a stock firmware and flash a new kernel, OS, recovery, etc. You need a computer running Windows or GNU/Linux for this.

Not a TA, but your example reminds me of a programming assignment where we had to take two strings of the format "HH:MM:SS" and add them together using clock rules. Most students had maybe 20 to 30 lines of code. One guy had over 500 lines of code. mfw I glanced at it.

The BIOS is locked down tighter than a nun's cunt, and using windows is a no-go. How can i reset my laptop's BIOS? I can't find the jumper and removing the CMOS for 10mins did nothing except ask me for date and time after boot. Any features that would enable me to make any sort of progress on wiping the HDD and clean-installing win have been disabled, with no obvious way of enabling them. Any wizard hacks?

Desktop - Nothing, completely blank
Start Menu - Classic Shell with programs organized into folders by type (Application, Music, Games etc.)
Files - Folders in root directory (Music, Games, Video, etc.)
Explorer - xplorer2 or q-dir

Desktop is kind of temporary folder, also default download location so I move files manually after. Besides that it's empty.
I have 5800 bookmarks, mostly unsorted but the results pop up whenever I type in address bar so it's quite handy.
And the res has its folder, like: Downloads, Emulators, Games, Movies (inside also TV Series and Cartoons), Music, Videos, Torrent_downloads..

Desktop - shortcuts and temporary files, nothing long term, if there's a shortcut on the taskbar or programss are run through some other thing then remove shortcuts, keep the desktop as minimal as possible
start menu - default windows organizations with manually palced shortcuts for applications that have no installer
files - ditch microsoft's organization for personal files. Have separate space on disk that is only managed by you to organize your files based on your habits and hobbies.Keep names short, descriptive and unique. Pic related. Each folder gets grouped further.
Last one is the most important, do not trust default solutions, they are likely not to fit you long term. Group things together and while doing this constantly think of what you really need. Be ready to make sweeping changes.

I had an online database made once, that stored serials + supplemental info. The admin panel was about the same as the frontend, just with the first row being the form input table (you could see the serials below, so you had a frame of reference as to the data you have to input).
You also had shitload of filters and sort options in there, so you could look stuff up based on the supplemental info. The admin was also hooked up so if you add a new entry with a filter present, it will auto fill the filtered values. That way you could set up 5-6 filters to pre-populate everything but the unique serial.
Some time I noticed that there are 10 or so unique patterns as to the filtered data. So I gave them all a separate identifier, and you could just input the serial and select a unique identifier and it would fill the rest automatically.
Then during testing I found out that you could set up a filter for that identifier as well... it was so goddamn useful that way, I just pick a dropdown filter, click on add-new, then enter the serial, and all supplemental info is automatically set. Need to pre-sort the serials I want to add first, but once I do that, I can do 1000+ entries in a weekend.
