>960m

ya blew it
>>
really depends what you paid for it, a gtx 960m is a bit of a shit GPU now compared to the gtx 1060'd some laptops are equipped with

if it was a decent deal, like, sub 900$, then yeah its a good buy, still a powerful laptop capable of 1080p gaming
but you could have gotten a gtx 1060 laptop and been golden

right now is what id call a great era for gaming laptops, the prices are low, the specs are great, and the "gaymer look" is slowly fading away
>>
>>58035942
i paid 1100 for it. happy compromise.

Is pic related a good way to ground yourself before touching electronics? I've killed my laptop several times from ESD and there's no suitable surface to ground myself on at the desk. Don't need a wrist strap, just one-time discharge before sitting down.

You do because as you move around (including your arms in the air) you generate a new charge.

Richard Stallman is literally a fat delusional nigger and his dreams of inspiring a free open source environment will never come to fruition.

Here is this fat jew in action : https://youtu.be/9sJUDx7iEJw

He has no real fans let alone a real life. Linux is total shit and he knows it. He made his life about trolling you all in believing you can make a different with your meaningless lives while missing out on mainstream society. Face it freetards the only thing good about the Linux kernel is on Apple's operating system. Are you mad yet? Good. Are you crying over your Ruffles crumbs on your foot as your eating it like your fungus loving hero? You should be. Windows and Mac will always be in the front while just like you as it was in the school gym class will be picked last and laughed at as your best friend comes over not for your entertainment but to pleasure your mother with vigorous strokes of winning code up her womb. Deal with it.

Your wasting your life

I want to get into Linux and programming also. I need a computer which will act as a Linux machine. I've heard good things about Chromebook's and I'd probably go with a Laptop as it's cheaper than a PC/more spacious as I already have one, but it's for Windows and gaming. I don't want to dual-boot, so what computer do you think would do the job. I'm looking to install Linux Mint on it.

So the only reason people didnt adopt python 3 was because they were casual babies?

What the fuck?

Why do people purposefully choose stagnation over progress?
9 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
People choose whatever the industry is using. A lot of code is still written in 2 and because 3 isn't backwards-compatible, companies still use 2 to maintain old projects. Until they begin to rewrite code in 3, 2 will be taught and used by most.

>Is the reason people choose to learn C and C++ because they are casual babies? They're so old and outdated. Rust is better. Never mind the fact that most older code bases are written in C and C++ and companies still want people who know those languages.
>>
Investigate why abap is such a good programming language for the enterprise and then physically remove yourself.

speaking of python what libraries do you consider mandatory to learn?

I've seen people with cool trips and even a few with custom-secure trips before and recently found software to make them. Wanted to see what you guys got to show off, I'm sure you've got some cool ones.

It can still boot up too, I just don't have anything to boot into, so it goes into a black screen after the post and bios, but if you press keys on the keyboard it makes noise and the lights still stay on.

You got a pretty high-end machine right there. With that display you could use it as a retro gaming machine with no issues at all.
