Hey /g/, I've been thinking about getting a RGB strip for my pc but am clueless so I've got no idea what to spring for. Can I get a little advice what to buy?

Literally all PC rice, certainly including lights, is cheap chink shit. The main thing that varies is how much of a markup gets slapped on it.

Buy whatever you want at the lowest price you can find it for.
>>
>>58128260

So like, there's no difference at all between most strips/brands?
>>
>>58128374
Other than the packaging they come in, nope.

how do I hook up the my TV monitor cable with this? I tried putting it around the monitor stand but the base is too thick for the sensor ring to fit around
7 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
You need to be more clear

What are you trying to hook up?
I don't think that cable is for connecting anything to a TV.
I think its some kind of proprietary utility cable, probably for some kind of machinery, maybe an antennae or something.

A lot of proprietary utility cables use vga connectors, but have nothing at all to do with video transfer
>>
That's a VGA connector.

Debian

I've got an Android 5.1 (Lollipop) OS Samsung phone that was stolen in a smash and grab, and when it was stolen location services was turned off and the battery dead.

While location services is off, is there a 3rd party APP I can PUSH install onto the phone that allows me to either

a) immediately locate the phone using the 3rd party software

or

b) turn location services back on

I appreciate any help you can muster, /g/

Cerberus probably.
>>
>>58127723
The first thing that the people who stole the phone did was factory reset. Forget about it. There is nothing you can do.
>>
>>58128375
If someone was smart they would do that, but the Android Device Manager shows they've been turning it on. I'm sure someone intelligent will eventually do that, but until they do if you have any suggestions they are more than welcome.

Suggest an iPad alternative that
>is 9-10" display
>on par performance
>no significant flaws
>$300 or less

So far, it seems like any tablet without some flaw is $400+, in which case, I may as well get an iPad since it's for my mom.

The hdd on my laptop died some time ago and i need it to work when im traveling.
So i'm going to put a distro in an usb flash drive and boot from there. Im leaning toward debian live.

I wonder if there's is a distro really fit for that kind of boot ? (i dont think gentoo is a good choice considering i'm going tonight)

And also if there's some speed problems ? Im not going to do anything fancy, mostly work (word processing, reading pdf and programming) and entertainement (mpv, vidya)
