Does VLC has problems with screen tearing? I set up my laptop to a large monitor(2560x1080) and I notice screen tearing in movies. laptop it's a i5 with 8gb ram and I turn off the latop screen when I use the other.

Consider switching to mpv. Don't let it intimidate you, it's the best current media player and it's not hard to use.

All talk shit about the battery.

My experience has been otherwise. I program, listen to music and other shit and get great battery life.

Don't buy into the anti-MBP hype

Sure don't buy it for whatever reason, but don't trust the battery reports being low.

Yeah I bought one. First day it estimated 5 hours while it was indexing. After that shot up to 8 then 11 now regularly 14 and has been increasing since then.

I suspect people buy it, take it out of the box and see 5 hours then talk shit, then other see the shit report and spread the myths far and wide.

Like I said, don't buy it for whatever reason but battery isn't an issue.

What's a decent NAS? I'm not looking for something huge. I've looked into Plex compatibility, and although it's not necessary it's easier for me to deal with something that works with Plex.

I'm down to:
>Western Digital My Cloud Pro Series PR2100
2-Bay, 4 TB
>Synology NAS 716+II
2-Bay, 2 GB DDR3 with a 4 TB WD drive I gotta install myself
>QNAP TS-251+
2-Bay 2 GB memory, 6 TB storage

Any thoughts?

Hi, te/g/hsupport. For some years ago, you were able to post image files on 4chan that had sound files inside of them. These could then be played in "music" threads if you downloaded an extension. These were a common thing on /v/. I still have these old pictures on my computer and I'm interested in extracting the music files from the images.
Does anyone know how I would go about doing this?

Here is one of them as an example.

It depends on how the music was added to the file.

So /g/ how do you guys feel about everyone trying to create their start-up, or most normies having a "start-up" and posting about it on facebook etc?

All the startup shit is just a bubble. Sure we all know the few that end up with long succesful histories, but what were seeing today is different. Too much bull investing from people with money but dont understand shit investing in every little thing hoping it will explode. Well turns out these apps are not that great at generating revenue (social apps really, games can be big) and its all really a big joke. Expect the economy to fall big time early into 2017.
>>
The only way I could literally care less would be if I was dead.

you do realize that startups and small sized companies are the largest job creators right?
