Village Roadshow has succeeded in blocking torrent sites in Australia. To fight back, we should hit their box office on Boxing day using an unpatched DoS which can rapidly allocate all of the seats without actually purchasing them, leaving it impossible for others to purchase a ticket.

Script is here:

The site devs would have fucked off for Christmas by now and would have zero chance of patching it in time.
INB4 NPYA: I can hold a cinema offline on my own, but not all of them.
Why would you bitw the hand that feeds?
Just go to the cinema to enjoy your movies, anon.

would the script work on other sites too?
Why don't vertical tears exist? Why is it always horizontal?
>>58134644
Because screens refresh vertically
>>58134644
Because that's how they draw the image. Vertically going from top to bottom.
>>58134644
screens draw up and down not left right
thats the basic expalanation
real explanation is because it refreshes vertically when the computer pushes another frame it'll start refreshing right on top of the one from before
Give it to me straight or send me to the right location.
What language should I learn when it comes to programming? Better yet, what can i learn to BS my way into a IT/CS job without a degree or any real applicable experience?
TL;DR:
I'm stupid, give me a language to learn and where/how to apply it.
>>58134596
Guess not. Thanks anyways, guys
>>58134596
Really your only hope is to learn whatever and make some projects to show you know your stuff
Get into the latest web framework buzzwords, maybe try react js or whatever the fuck is hot right now
For IT I would assume a low level lang. It looks like you haven't really thought this through.

What are best shaders for upscaling 480p content to 1080p screen? nnedi3 is ugly.
Also, which tscale filter is best for 23.976 fps cartoons?
>>58134479
>which tscale filter is best
Oversample always. It's the only tscale that doesn't introduce noticeable blurring. It's not as smooth as the other options, but at least it doesn't wreck your image.
>>58134479
>Also, which tscale filter is best for 23.976 fps cartoons?
don't. set your display to a multiple of 24/1.001
>>58134479
Bicbuic or mitchell. It's what the devs use like Haasn. Oversample does jack shit.
As for the upscale shit, justt use ewa_lanczossharp and get over it. It's the recommended scaler. NNEDI is placebo shit that is too heavy to have any form of practical use. I bet you can't fucking tell the difference without comparing stillshots.

I don't think it's false, I think it's kind of news you shouldn't pay attention at.
And many Russians look like goblins, actually.
It was never meant to be this way, the optimal solution was for AMD to go bankrupt during this year and have Intel make GPUs in their place and Nvidia make x86, but instead we got this shit, a shit company with shit products run by shit people FUCK FUCK FUCKK
This is a massive loss for all of us, we can expect pretty much ZERO growth and improvements now.

I'm trying to make a text adventure game with java...
Is it feasible?
Does anyone know how to make a GUI that would work, like a text box or something?
I would be so grateful for any help
<<<Something like this>>>import java.util.*;
public class Anus{
public static void main(String[] args){
Scanner input= new Scanner(System.in);
System.out.println("you wake up in a strange room. Do you stand up? Y/N");
String answer=input.nextLine();
if (answer.equals("yes")|answer.equals("y")|answer.equals("Y")){
System.out.println("You stand up");
}else{
System.out.println("you stay lying there");
}
}
}
Bruh making GUI in java is such a pain in the ass. If you want to make it still, please do it in JavaFx. DO NOT USE Java Swing. Its horrible. Look up JavaFx GUI

>One in three people have become victims of a crime which averages at one theft every nine seconds. In the UK alone, around £1.2 million is lost every day, despite the advent of chip and PIN technology.
What does it mean for us?
Is it really that easy to make money through fraud? Why do people work jobs then.
>>58133881
How is crime profitable in the UK? There are cameras everywhere. What are all the cameras used for if they don't use it to follow the criminals home?
>>58134277
They don't have resources for it.
Do you realize how busy police and courts would be?
>>58134346
They should just get some sort of automatic recognition to do it. Just choose the person to follow and let the computer do it and recognize from other cameras. The technology already exists
Thoughts ?

Hey guys Im new to python and I need help. Is it bad practice to initialize variables to None inside the __init__ method of a class?
Here is my code:class Loader():
def __init__(self):
self.client_secret = None
self.client_id = None
self.username = None
self.redirect_uri = None
self.token = None
Its impossible for me to initialize them before hand because it requires user input. Should I just call the input() method inside the __init__ ? Or is there a better way to do this
>>58133724
1. Get user input
2. Create object using data from step 1
Put it all in a factory function if you feel like it
Thank you for formatting your code unlike most people who ask.
>>58133724
It's not very pythonic

What does /g/ think of elitebooks?
Thinking of buying a 2570p or 2560p and upgrading it to a quad core.
Thoughts?
Any reasons why this wouldn't work?
Any reason why Lenovo prevented its x230/20 customers from doing the same?
I have an elitebook 8440p and I like it
happy to see the 2570p still has a clit mouse and physical buttons, even if the keyboard is sunk in
I hate every new laptop I have seen
I love my 2730p, equivalent to X200T, but i like it better. As for quadcore, not sure - if the CPU isn't BGA-ed in and has a socket, you're often limited to the same FSB speed and microarchitecture (Pentryn, Nehalem, Sandy Bridge, Ivy Bridge etc.) Hard to say.
Used a 2560p during an exchange semester for six months - i7, 8GB RAM, SSD. Great laptop, can't really go wrong with it. The only downside I can see is that it's a little bulky and heavy for bringing to school every day; it's definitely not an ultrabook.
