Is there a Linux Distro that looks like this? I wouldn't mind a broader color palette but I absolutely love pixel art, sprites, ect. and I'd love a distro or theme I can install that looks like this

You're cpu is most likely a bottleneck, thus, if you exchange the cpu your gpu will function better. After, also, if you decide to get a new gpu, you won't need to have a care on the cpu

Does running pwd call getcwd()? From what i've skimmed through in http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/coreutils.git/tree/src/pwd.c it seems that it implements a more robust version, if thats true whats the point of retaining the original getcwd() ?
>>
Are you using Chromium?

If yes use an addon called H64ify. Google fags push VP9 if they can detect chrome. VP9 is yet to have true hardware assisted accelration.

My old HP Omnibook 4150, which could run Linux and everything from Win3.1 (in True Color thanks to ThinkPad 600E graphics drivers, and SB16/WSS emulation) through XP.
In retrospect it was the right choice to replace it with my current Toshiba Portégés for retro purposes, though, once it literally fell apart.

I recently migrated from Win 7 to Linux Mint (Cinnamon)

At first I really liked it, but then I noticed there's a tearing while watching videos which wasn't at all present in Windows

How do I fix this?

I also suggest that you switch to GNOME 3.22 (ubuntu GNOME 16.10) for flickering free wayland experience

i don't understand, i tried to enabled but the same thing, also my laptop comes with nvidia gt950m
>>
>>58149158
The 950m might be the issue since 16.04 uses kernel 4.4. I believe this is not as much of an issue with newer kernels.
See if adding nomodeset=0 or nouveau.modeset=0 to the boot parameters in grub works.

The same thing whuch hapoens to all Linux devices, third party support was abandoned and/or none existant in the first place so the general consumer switched to products which have support.

Sup /fit/, im fat but doing cardio and eating well and getting less fat. I'm starting to incorporate some strength training into my routine. Now I understand that I shouldn't expect many gains while eating a calorie deficit, but what about strength gains? Should I still expect to get stronger?

/g/ I'm going insane. 1 week ago, my PSU failed, taking the motherboard along with it. Luckily, it's almost Christmas, so I had some relative cash to replace the PSU & mobo. My new mobo was DOA. My new PSU was also DOA, so I returned them both for new replacements. My next order gave me a perfectly fine mobo, however, after assembling my PC, it wouldn't boot so I tested the PSU and it was.....DOA. At this point I thought I was doing something wrong so once I returned the PSU and the next one came in I took everything to my friend who runs a local PC shop. He confirmed not only that I was doing everything correctly and just unlucky, but the next PSU I brought him was....DOA. However, all this bad luck was soon to end. I ordered yet another PSU after that, and my PC worked fine. But, 4 hours later, like clockwork, it failed. Now I am here, very pissed off.

What is going on /g/? So far I've:

>Bought multiple different brands of PSU
>Used a different outlet everytime, (I've tried this in 2 houses as well as said local shop)
>Used different cables everytime
>Bought a (barely) used PSU to ensure I was buying something that worked

I'm sorry for clogging up the catalog, but the autists at reddit are non-helpful as always. What do?

Pic related, one of the many PSU's to fail

Stop being a dumbass and shorting things out.
Pay a professional to assemble the damn thing because you obviously aren't able to.
>>
>>58148724
Like I said, I took it to a professional.
>>
The chances of that many DOA products in a row is pretty much 0%, either you or your houses wiring are part of the problem here.
