Friendly reminder, if you identify yourself and others based on the technology they use, you either have autism or haven't turned 18 yet.

Welcome to the real world Anon, do you think it only applies to people with the OS they prefer? No, go to any board on this forum or maybe even outside and it's the same.

It's not Autism, it's human nature.

Tech fuck up stories bread?
>be me,13
>get Droid X as first Android phone
>pretty impressed with Android OS
>deciding rooting it for multiple advantages (delete bloat, more control over the phone)
>root it, pretty great. Even install a custom power on animation.
>one day, fuck around with app uninstaller
>notice that if you "uninstall" certain apps, it will just reset the app to v1.0
>suddenly, brilliant idea
>find AndroidOS application (it was shown as that on the uninstaller I was using)
>figure if I hit uninstall, it would go back to android v1.0
>mistakesweremade.jpg
>suddenly, get multiple windows of error messages in different languages
>phone goes black
>never turns on again
>mfw I basically did the equivalent of deleting system 32 on a windows PC

Ever since then, I've made sure to be more careful fucking around with a rooted phone.

Every time I install any os, I'm retarded enough to accidentally wipe a drive I didn't want to wipe.
I always unplug hard drives I don't want to install the is to now.

I have literally never had a problem or fuck up of any kind. I assume it's because of acceptable reading comprehension and not being a fucking retard.

Hey fagmasters,

/k/ here. I was wondering if my rig could handle a VR headset like the Oculus Rift. I was going to get a pleb PS4 VR headset, but everyone and their wife's son is out.

Here's my specs:
>AMD FX 6300
>NVIDIA GeForce GT 730
I know everything else is kosher, but I just wanted to make sure. Please help me /g/, my wife's son really, REALLY wants VR for Christmas and I've been a lazy, NEET fuck for the last two months.
Any other things you guys think I might need?
Thanks, buds. And have a Merry Christmas!

I will be monitoring this thread.

The 3d printer thing in Subnautica. I could also see 3d printers eventually getting that good within my lifetime, so there is hope
>>
>>58151297

Please elaborate
>>
>>58151297

Related, or at least a better version of eMachineShop's software.

I don't need to actually own the 3D printer, and I need the parts to be more durable than meme stratified printing. If I could just click <send> and have the parts come in AL6061/etc parts come UPS in 2 days I'd be happy.

Why is this company associated with jews?
11 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
>>58150931
one of the none-engineers that was in on the funding and later ran the company, andy grove, was a jew

other engineers of the company had jewish roots. Frohman (EPROM guy) made sure Intlel would build facilities in tel-aviv to support the zionist cause once he was vice pres. and so on

but I guess most associate it with jews because of how they're segmenting their products and introduce artificial differences in them, all for the maximum squeezing of customers. not to mention the shit they do to fuck over competition (which also means fucking over end-users)

What exactly is wrong with Xfce as compared to Xubuntu and other DE's? I have tested many combinations of DE/WM on Ubuntu, this is the least bloated by far.

The only other option is to install Gentoo from scratch.

It didn't have a network manager and software updater, had to manually install it. Also lightdm for auto start.

That took like 30 seconds and it was as functional as full Xubuntu install.
