I have three hdd with windows installed
It's possible to keep the very same installation and use them on a different pc?
I need to finish some work but the first pc failed beyond repair
Thanks
Do you mean... plug your HDDs into another PC and boot the old windows from there?
Yes it's possible, you just need to assert which of your drives is the C: drive in your system, and attach it to the first IDE drive in your other PC (swap the current HDD in the working PC with the desired HDD)

Are there any earphones that:
- Have as good or better sound quality
- Have as good or better noise cancelling
Than the Bose QC20s, for less money?
I'm looking for decent noise cancelling and sound quality. Must be earphones. Willing to spend a lot if necessary. Recommendations? Also if you're just gonna post to shit on Bose, explain why rather than just ">2016 >Buying Bose". Cheers

Is anyone here a competent programmer?
I've been trying to learn how to program for a few weeks, i can make a few simple programs with python but not much else.
what's the best you can currently do?
How long did it take you to get to that level?
>>58155478
>python
You'll never become a competent programmer with this pile of shit.
>>58155512
What do you suggest i learn then?
Also, why is python a pile of shit?
>>58155570
Python is fine, just not commonly used and slow as dicks
I'd learn C up until you can work with dynamic memory then try some kind of OOP (ie. C++, Java)
Programming knowledge comes piece by piece, don't expect to be able to implement crazy algorithms overnight.
What's your Christmas homescreen, /g/?
same as always

Not seeing a problem here
I don't really follow this board but I wonder if some anon here ever created a software to steal data from other anons and promoted it by shilling anonymously his software and even going as far as convincing other anons to do so.
You should continue not following this board

How the fuck do I install a Bluetooth device in Windows 7?
I bought this Insignia USB Bluetooth Adapter but Windows can't find the driver automatically, and when I follow the instructions to the site there's only XP, 8, and 10 drivers.
This is fucking bullshit.
Why are mac users so insecure and whore attention so much?
buy it but also make sure you throw away your black rimmed glasses
Just buy a case or skin/jacket.
We're plenty wealthy enough to buy any and all Mac products. We're a Mac household because working in application engineering support, and my wife working in competitive intelligence, we don't want to deal with flakey shit when we get home. I just want things to work so I can unwind and leave that shit at the office. I hate dealing with flaky tech shit when I just want to have a glass of wine and some downtime.
We avoid the whole "Mac attention whore" thing by using jackets / protectors on our stuff so they look like generic eAppliances. Honestly, Mac attention whores are the worst. Almost as bad as people who go to Starbucks.

I don't think normal people out in the real world care all that much what brand of laptop you get. So just go for it and stop being insecure about what people on /g/ of all places might think of you.
What's the point?

My mouse just broke (Corsair M65) and i had this old one saved just in case.
I just noticed that there is almost no difference.... have we been duped with retarded marketing and sensor bullshit?

Interesting...
Bump
>have we been duped with retarded marketing and sensor bullshit?
High dpi mice are just like audiophile bullshit. It's just snakeoil placebo shit.
yes
well not really the fancy new sensors and whatever gimmicks are actually better on the metrics they use to measure them. dpi, polling rare, acceleration etc etc
its just you have to realize that those things have an unnoticeable effect in real world performance
How did it become such ever growing abomination of a standard?
Why is it so ambiguous, overengineered and complex that handling it in a non-exploitable way is almost impossible?
Why include fucking emojis, for fucks sake?
Will it include cave paintings in the future?
unicode is great. The only relevant encoding, all other encodings are shit. especially whatevrer windows uses in the command prompt
>>58154400
chcp 65001
>>58154400
modern windows uses unicode literally everywhere, including the console (the internal representation)
ironically, due to unicode being a contraption, it's also fucked up in several places
