there's a growing trend of not having 2 DVI ports
is there any setback with using a DisplayPort adapter to cover the 2nd and 3rd monitors?
>>58201828
Depends on the monitor no? If you have a Free/G Sync wouldn't you want to use HDMI 2?
>>58201828
DisplayPort would require an active adapter. HDMI's the better choice, I got my HDMI to DVI cable for $2.50.
>>58203785
What do you mean active adapter?
I got s /csg/ display port to HDMI adapter of Amazon for like $5.
It works OK, I don't know if it's caused my the adapter, a failing monitor, or the igpu or motherboard.. but my screen Black's or a few times a night
It's just a thing that plugs into the display port, it doesn't have any other io besides do in and HDMI out

Is there an easy way to make a retro gaming machine out of something I might already have? (Besides a PC) Instead of getting a raspberry pi.
I don't understand why we don't have the ability to connect my android phone to a tv with some bluetooth controllers.
Original PSP is great for emulators
>>58201645
Isn't an android phone much more powerful than a PSP?
>>58201654
An android phone doesn't have buttons
Oh wow, so the telescreen... I mean these AI boxes are now helping solve crimes, how cool is that! What would be even better if they could prevent crime! Or even bad thoughts!
Why haven't you goys... I mean guys invested in a AI device yet? It can even order you a pizza if you tell it to. How futuristic is that? Instead of picking up the phone like some sort of caveman, you can tell Alexa to do it.

Any thoughts on spytech's realtime spy? specifically reviews on functionality, stealth and ease of remote install if one binds to jpg?
>>58201495
every none shit AV detects binded files as malware regardless of what they are, you're best bet is to make your own spyware from scratch then use social engineering to target your victim
4 mac
regardless of program, how to implement. social engineering is an option, but it will only get me so far. icloud is the test target
Give me 1 (one) reason to not learn Python as my first programming language.
You won't learn about memory management and it will be more difficult for you to learn a more complex language after it.
you cant learn python as a programming language because it is not a programming language

Any suggestions for a new headset? Specifically one Best Buy sells?
I got 80$ in gift cards for Best Buy and I need a new headset, once again...
Every headset I buy ends up a bit faulty after a month or two, so I would like some recommendations.
Must haves:
-Bass support (My latest headset has this and, holy fucking shit it blew me away, feeling the vibration on the headset in a really intense moment is a must have for me now)
-Good mic quality
-Surround sound capabilities (Like what Razer has for their headsets)
-Comfortable (Doesn't leave my ears sore after wearing them for a while)
Must nots:
-Detachable mic
-Detachable dead cat
-Detachable anything
I've never used a wireless headset, but I'm getting kind of tired of wires with my headset as, most of the time, they prove to be the main issue. But if being wireless sacrifices sound/mic quality I don't want it.
I think I might be being a bit picky since, this is limited to Best Buy, and they aren't really known for their unlimited choices in products, but it's 80$ and I need a new headset
Forgot to mention, it doesn't need to be <=80$
Best Buy offers their replacement on headsets, get it and just swap out your broken one every time.
>>58201487
>every
I don't normally buy my headset from Best Buy, this is only an exception because of the gift cards.
When did you realised that linux is a meme and a waste of time?
ITT we talk about how amazing Linux is in the current year.
>>58201389
At some point, after my system had been perfectly set up and riced.. I actually went back to normal activities and it was a constant pain in the ass. Little things like not being able to properly run Photoshop (3D functions) or install any other program/game without having to look up wineHQ for fucking fixes. I can't properly produce Music because no VSTs.. etc etc. I realized I just used Linux because I wanted to "fit in".. Now I don't give a fuck anymore, it's a waste of time
>>58201389
When I installed pic related for the first time. It's good on servers though. I'm sorely tempted to install it over Solaris.

DDG's sublime !bang syntax is what makes it the best. No one actually uses the search engine.

literally three more characters at the expense of having >2000 sites ready to !bang
bangs are literally the only reason i use it
Post your component list, rate other anons', ask questions in general.
Always state the purpose of your PC, your budget, AND YOUR COUNTRY if outside the USA.
If you are asking for improvements, clarify whether you want to lower price or to improve specs or build quality.

Why is this taking so long to be adopted? Literally everything should be Qi compatible by now, and surfaces should be everywhere. I can't even throw wireless headphones/earbuds on a Qi pad. Or a wireless mouse/keyboard, remote control, vidya controller, ANYTHING

>wanting inefficient charger
>>58200876
I use it all the time to change my Nexus 5. People are still amazed when they see it.
>>58201113
As long as it charges overnight who gives a fuck? The wasted electricity will cost you like $0.50 a year. I'm not even talking only about home use, surfaces should be literally everywhere. Restaurants, gym equipment, airports, etc.
>>58201151
And it's been around so long! I don't get it.
