Korora is a nice noob friendly version of Fedora that comes with third party repos to provide proprietary codecs and stuff. I haven't actually used Korora but I use Fedora with the rpmfusion repos (the ones Korora uses I think) on all my machines and absolutely love it. IMHO Fedora is the best distro, therefore making Korora also best :).

Hi /g/ I'm doing a skype interview soon for a tech company and I want to get more practice with C++isms / practice problems so I don't get blindsided during the interview. I have some C++ experience but its a massive language so its easy to get fucked.
Does anyone have good suggestions on things I should brush up on? I've been going through cppreference / hackerrank C++ / googling various c++ terms and writing small demos but you guys are smart and can help me thing of typical gotcha bs shit interviews throw but pertaining to C++
The list right now:
* What's the difference between static_cast, dynamic_cast, const_cast, reinterpret_cast
* What are vtables
* etc
help me avoid looking like pic related during the interview /g/ thanks.

how reductive can we get when discussing video game necessities with computer parts?
like right now everyone is saying that if you play at just 1080p 2GB is perfectly fine
but is that for ever? is that based on raw data of the resolution vs whats needed to display it on screen?
also the same goes for CPU, there doesnt seem to be a technical reason for why people say an i3-6100 is fine an can run almost every game, but then they say other games you should try to get atleast the i5-6500
both have 4+ threads and the same clock speeds
so is there an actual 1080p future proof CPU?
now that 4K and other resolutions are being pushed so hard shouldnt it make it easier to now literally purchase a 1080p build and never worry?
just like how the 750ti is still kicking on 720p resolutions

Has the whole race war thing made America less attractive to you as a place to work/live? It has for me. I'm Canadian.
It's possible to live in a nice neighborhood and get away from crime, but if SoCal decides to descend into ethnic violence, the offices of the Big 4 will not be spared.

It used to be top tier and could take a 32x32 thumbnail and show you the world.
Scraping metadata was a breeze.
Now you put in a specific person and get stock photos and search recommendations for "guy"
However it recognizes porn, it's astoundingly good at it and quick to come back empty handed.
