1. It's Windows
2. A dark gray might look better.
>>58339565
I just hate looking at it. It actually does have a lot of improvements but visually it's terrible. Definetely a step down from 7 and even 8.
How does anybody get any work done without a multi monitor setup?
Shit, that used to take me 20 minutes at my old job is now taking double that and wasting my fucking time. I've talked to my boss about it but he's saying we can't do it because everyone would want two screens and Senior management won't buy them. I've told him I'd bring in my own monitor and he still says that could cause problems.
This is driving me fucking nuts and I'm probably going to set it up anyway.
>>58339461
lel, get yourself some decent resolution
After really dipping my toes into multi-monitor with a laptop and external display, I don't see how anyone who wants to be productive can do with a single display either.
>work
>being too dumb to get rich quick on the stock market
>being too much of a normalfag to get disability/autismbux
>wasting money on 3 monitors because you're too dumb to properly position your windows and/or alt-tab
I'm not a wageslave so my computer is purely for entertainment and my 32" 4K monitor is plenty large enough for everything.
IT'S HAPPENING
THANK YOU BASED INTEL

Hi guys on /g/ is paysafecard really so anonymous?
>>58339295
You're supposed to register these online before using them online, but you could put any address in there. Not every online retailer and child porn site will take them though.
no, they will block your card and ask for personal information if you use the card with a proxy/vpn

We do not talk about the music as it is but how it's created and what we use and how to help
others get better
1 simple rule I hope you can guys do, please don't be assholes to those who
have a different perspective on another DAW, no matter what it is or how shitty
it is. I know there are some very laughable ones out there but ya know...
So please just be as helpful as you can.

Anyone at CES? What new stuff will /g/ rave about this year?
no retro thinkpad?
Maybe anyone who have not already could fill out these retro thinkpad forms.

Maybe it will remind them that we still want a retro thinkpad. At least make it the most popular webpage on lenovo.com during CES (more than their other shit)

>'The internet will shut down for 24 hours in 2017 causing financial markets to crash'
>Millions of computer users across the world could be blocked from the internet this year as the global network will shut down for 24 hours, US technology security vendor LogRhythm predicted in December.
>The company’s chief information security officer and vice president James Carder told Business Insider, it won’t just be a technical issue stopping people from uploading their selfies on Instagram.
>"In 2017, we’re going to see it hit big sometime, somewhere. If the internet goes down, financial markets will tank," he said.
>According to Carder, there were all the signs in 2016, with criminals "testing missiles by shooting them into the ocean."
This is the price humankind must pay for not using GNU/Linux

That's $1.25 an hour.
And no, you have to buy your own games. You load your Steam or Origin account on GeForce Now, and you get to play the games on those accounts.
>being so afraid of cannibalizing GPU sales, they shoot the new product in foot even before the race starts, ensuring it's DOA
Isn't this how companies die?
>inb4 gb2/v/
I was too lazy to calculate the total cost but Engadget did.
>If you only played two hours a day, you'd spend $912 for a year of NVIDIA GeForce Now gaming.
$200 for the shield plus that means it's a service for retards.
Yes it is shit, but it will hardly cannibalize GPU sales when it's clearly intended to be used on platforms where having a good GPU isn't possible, like macs and shitty laptops.
>$1.25
Almost costs as much as renting a Windows-based Tesla server from Azure.

What's the best music player out there and why is it AIMP? Seriously this one is even better than Winamp.
Inb4 le foobar meme.
mpv is the best, everything else is bloat.
>>58338054
Is it faster than Winyl? No.
Is it more feature complete than MusicBee? No.
Is it more customizable than Foobar? No.
Then it's not the best. It excels at nothing and it's average on everything.
