Cybersecurity general is for the discussion of anything and everything related to cybersecurity.
Why are you so paranoid if you've got nothing to hide?
Suggestions for new resources is welcome.
The Gentoomen /sec/ community is looking for CTF team members, contact them at the IRC channel.
Listen here, fellow hackermen. You keep a general alive by posting pictures that catch people's eyes and by contributing.
In this case, a large "INFO SEC HERE" is better than a fucking DIY antenae (albeit it is cool).
Those are !!!FUN!!! words, brother.
Do I have to buy new ram?

Prove that Samsung doesn't make the best phones protio:you cant

best linux kernel coming through
i am not understanding why a itanium processor would be better for a server. because, for example, the new itanium processor is 32nm, and consumes more power than a xeon. so, would the architecture help make the processor faster than a xeon nevertheless?
Just a remeinder that the Brave browser been shilled here non-stop by some Soro's shills is A BOTNET
REAPEAT WITH ME
BRAVE BROWSER IS A BOTNET
BRAVE BROWSER IS A BOTNET
BRAVE BROWSER IS A BOTNET
Soro's shills get out of my /g/
>he was forced to resign from Mozzila because he wansn't a leftist
>starts his own browser
Brave sounds good enough
It sounds you're the fucking shill that is afraid that Brave will change the tides
a security risk that no one should have enabled
he caved in to feminists and sjw
>starts his own browser AGAIN
This cuck deserves what he got
The Brave browser tracks everything you do on the browser and sells it to whoever it wants. It doesn't protect anyone. It still sells data to advertisers for BETTER ADVERTISING
GET THE FUCK OFF MY /g/
I dont know why my cpu is so hot while idle. I read it might be a thermal paste issue but I have no idea how to fix it. Anyone know?
If you want help:
>Assemble parts list
>State the budget for your build (and country if not USA)
>List games/software you use often, as well as your monitor resolution + refresh rate
>Clarify your goal for build improvements: lower price or improved specs?
How to assemble a PC, select components & more (outdated)
No i5 unless discounted
>G4560 - poverty-tier builds
>R3 1200 - Budget builds (<$500)
>R3 1300x - Good stop-gap between the 1500x and the 1200, only get a 1400 if you absolutely need multithreading
>R5 1500x - Good but up to 1600 if you can
>R5 1600 - Best value for higher fps gaming / mixed usage; 1600x if you want higher stock clocks
>R7/Used Xeon/Threadripper - Compute/Multitask/VM/mixed use; Not for just gaming
Coin miners have driven price up and stock down, waiting to buy a GPU might be wiser
>Integrated CPU Graphics - Desktop stuff and very light games
>GTX 1050(Ti) - Lower end budget cards, drop settings on newer games, RX560 beaten by both
>RX570 - [email protected]~hz maxed, running most maxed older games at 100~Hz
>RX580 and GTX1060 6GB - [email protected] maxed, [email protected] at lower settings; RX580 better in newer games
>GTX 1070 or Vega 56 - [email protected] /[email protected] at high
>GTX 1080 - [email protected] / [email protected] maxed, [email protected] in a few games; Probably the highest end card you need for 1080p/1440p
>GTX 1080Ti - [email protected] and [email protected] maxed/high in many games
>Good fucking luck even getting a VEGA right now
>Check your Mobo QVL before buying any RAM
>Ryzen CPUs benefits a lot from high speed RAM
ALWAYS LOOK AT PRODUCT REVIEWS!
Always consider an SSD. Try buying a large SSD for what you'd pay for your SSD+HDD combined, and add a HDD later
NVMe SSDs aren't for a faster OS boot, they're for productivity/scratch disk/VMs. NVMe and M.2 are not the same thing, M.2 is a form factor
>Youtube is broken
Look at pic related for the fix
>using youtube inside the mobile browser
Why is redhat doing this?
Are they actively trying to destroy linux?
So I found this today in an unlocked hallway.
Has /g/ ever made a successful project?
/a/ remade their favorite anime tracker.
/pol/ coordinated an airstrike on an ISIS training camp
the other boards do stuff, too.
I have a feeling 95% of you cannot program.
>>i have a feeling 95% can't program
>implying that programming anything could surpass meming Linux to hold the majority of the marketshare
I have a feeling OP is a colossal faggot.
well I made a spreadhseet in Java and my professor told me it was the better one out of the class
I want to try a rolling release distro because i dont want to reinstall or upgrade my system everytime there is a new version. I was thinking about Fedora Rawhide, because i like to use the newest stuff and i would like to use the newest version of gnomeshell. But i have my doubts as im not sure if its stable enough. Do you guys have any experience with it? If its not stable then might use debian sid (which may not be stable too and it still doesnt have the newest gnomeshell) or opensuse tumbleweed. I dont want to use arch or gentoo because they sound like a meme to me but prove me wrong if you have time and want to. Feel free to discuss rolling realise distros in my thread please, it would be a lot of help to me
