Are there dedicated imageboard browsers for computer?
Try the ZAC Browser
>>58451091
The only (almost) universal interface for interacting with any imageboard is fetching HTML data over HTTP, and that's just called a "web browser".
You might find one for a specific imageboard though, there's a few 4chan CLI/GUI browser projects in /dpt/ every so often, like this one for Windows.
I just wrote one using node.js + electron ;)

Look at this web 2.0 abomination, boys.
>>58451083
literal mobile browser tier design. You have to click the _ button to go back to that menu to type in the address and make a new tab. Of course, you can press Command t, but there is no indication that you opened a new tab over in the tab orb space at all.
Also it seems to have automatically imported my firefox history without asking me.
>>58451172
Wait, you can press the + too, but those buttons have no description popups.
Okay I just installed it and it gave me aids
uninstalling right now
this is terrible and whoever thought this was a good idea should feel bad
>My Passport
Huh? who thought of this brand name? in what way is it like a passport?
It shows massive faggots if anyone sees the pictures on it
>>58450882
>>58450882
A passport is a small document you take with you when you travel places, so a name like that invokes the feeling of portability, being able to take your data along when you travel etc.
>>58450909
thats actually a pretty good explanation, thanks anon!

What's your excuse? What do you do on your computer that requires more than a Skylake or Kaby Lake i5 or i7, 8 or 16 GB RAM and a GTX 1050 or 1060? When you're at home you can just dock it and run as many fancy-ass 4k monitors as you want.
Gaymen kiddies need not apply
Because I want something that can play games at high setting and at the same time been a server for other stuff and not run so hot it could cook eggs on it's cover.

real question is why the fuck would you spend hundreds of dollars on a laptop, which uses hardware comparible to 3-5 year old tech, and is nothing more than an overglorified phone with keyboard/trackpad.
especially when you have a stupid fucking 'smartphone' which is fuckhuge, (should) fit in your pocket, and has mouse&keyboard support

Got two new headphones today.
Why are there no Power over Ethernet laptops?
Plz respond
U get very low current so it would take a long time to charge the capacitors plus the gauge of the wire won't support higher current or voltage
>>58451284
Thanks, that makes sense
C/++ faggots say that their language could have done Rust's safety features, so why didn't they?
Why did they allow years of shit and unsafe and bugged code to happen and force a company like Mozilla to come up with a not-retarded systems programming language?
Also before some cunt screams SJW, explain to me how a language being SJW affects what I can write with it?
>>58450650
>>58450684
Not so fast, retard. That implies you can't write fast code in Rust but you can in c++. But that's bullshit.
>>58450714
Nothing so dramatic. What I was implying was that with C++ you can get hurt. Hence, adrenaline and a reason to improve.
FOSS is great for what it is but fuck all of you FOSS evangelists who try to push the agenda of
>muh freedoms
>durr open source is best source
>herp derp windows = botnet
>FOSS is all you ever need
Fuck all of that. I like Linux just as much as I like Windows. I use both. I pay for proprietary software sometimes because I need it and use it and there's no alternatives whatsoever on the FOSS side. Which is fine, I actually understand that software is expensive for a reason, unlike some of you fags. I like to play an occasional game and I pay for that, too. Why wouldn't I support the fucking developers? There's nothing wrong with the proprietary model, it actually gives us some of the BEST software on the planet.
tl;dr the FOSS religion can go suck a dick. And all of you FOSS missionaries are a bunch of fucking dickheads. Fuck you and your religion
>hurr durr slavery works just fine why get rid of it
>these anti-slavery nuts and their dumb religion are garbage
>>58450574
READ the STICKY. Then leave /g/ and never come back
>>58450581
>comparing proprietary software to slavery
Guess what, I actually choose to pay for my software. No one forced me to.
/sqt/ Stupid Question Thread.
Last one died.
I'll start.
Why won't Windows 8.1 update anymore? It sits on "checking for updates" for hours, this is a brand new install.
Pic unrelated.
>>58450439
Oops drunk and forgot to include the correct capture.
8.1 haha
haaa
upgrade to windows 10 you loser

Ikr xDDDD
Install ubuntu on my brother laptop since he is not very computer savvy.
Everything works.
One day just rondomly(no updates or new configurations or new programs installed).
Unity doesn't load, no Launcher, no Dash appears, just the desktop wallpaper and desktop icons.
Search "how to fix my shitty loonix?"
Type in the terminal all of 117237162 "solutions" from the ubuntu forums.
Nothing fix it.
WHAT A PICE OF SHIT
I will back to windows and hever gonna try this meme OS ever again. Thanks for shilling this shit I was a retard for faling for this.
consider the following: you suck.
nice blog by the way ;)
top false flag
>>58450436
No, your meme hobbist pice of shit L33th4k0r OS sucks.
What is the max speed you can get with RG6? I've never actually seen someone claim that it has a "maxed out" speed.
>>58450302
Its maxed out speed is wherever you can no longer distinguish the signal from the noise.
>>58450335
Which is usually around how fast?
>>58450302
It's entirely possible the same copper POTS line from the 2400 baud days is still being used with ADSL. Who knows?
Has anyone here used a fake fingerprint to get a new biometric passport?
Do border agents actually check your fingerprint routinely?
in Europe every time
>>58450284
you should apply for visa, Juan Carlos
Is there a problem here?
Can any anons explain to me how US cell phone prefixes work?
For example in Ireland we have 083, 085, 086 and 087 for mobile numbers. Can't find any similar info for the US.
>>58450264
We just switched from 7 digit numbers to 10.
We have the area code or first 3 digits, then the rest just goes up from 0000000 skipping numbers that begin with 555 so we can put numbers in movies and stuff. It used to be that you didn't have to dial the area code if the person you were calling was in your area, now you do.
>>58450546
In aus we just use 04 for mobile.
Landline has area code though.
02 for ACT, 03 for melbourne, 07 for Queensland, etc
Cellphones and home phones have no differences in the way the number is generated in the US. It is simply the area code followed by 7 digits.
For what purpose?
>>58450208
Bigger numbers, i guess?
>>58450316
But it makes it confusing, why rename USB 3.0 to 3.1 (gen 1) it's so stupid.
>>58450325
The consumer shouldn't understand what's buying.
