Now what do you have to say?
What if I am that autist?
>>58505220
Paying a pajeet to code for you is like paying a Gypsy to watch your children.

okay, what a fucking asshole here.
So I have been having issues recently running games I should be able to run at high settings getting absolutely awful frame rates. For instance, been playing Watch Dogs 2, their recommended specs are well under what I am running.
I have:
i5 4690k 3.5ghz
8 GB Ram
970 GTX 4GB GPU
Gigabyte Z9X-u5dh Mobo
I have tried running the game on medium settings even and still get terrible frame rates. This shouldn't be happening with this set up right? My drivers are up to do, I've scanned for spyware/malware and come up clean...what could cause this?
>>58505087
Also, running nothing but Chrome and GEForce Experience currently and 33 percent of my RAM is being used up. I have a feeling I have spyware or something running in the background eating up CPU power I am not seeing in my task manager. I've run CCleaner, Malware Bytes and Avast Antivirus....nothing found.

I mean memory not CPU power

Really?
how would the software industry be affected if a program were released that could automatically reverse engineer any program and provide the full source code?
i'm not even sure that would even be possible without solving the halting problem
>>58505002
business guys would be outraged if they understood what this meant
managers would be pissed as always
the developers that still have some shame would feel it very, very deeply
>>58505021
well yes, i mean hypothetically. let's say it could reverse engineer websites, too, like google or facebook.
Why do you buy used devices instead of new ones?
>>58504960
Everything new is infected by the botnet. Also /g/ is poor
>>58504991
But everything used was probably taken into the bathroom daily and used as a porn machine.

Hello. This is my build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/EliteKnightRamza/saved/DrdbvK
I'm struggling with the motherboard, GPU, and case. There's ~20 or so choices in each respective category. I need some help picking what's best for my build here.
The motherboard: so many choices within 10 or 20 dollars. Are they all going to pretty much perform the same? Overclocking is very important to me so I want something that will handle OCing well and also has an easy to use BIOS. I really need the biggest help here because there's so many choices. I sorted a bunch here that are all compatible with my build: What to get and why?
https://pcpartpicker.com/products/motherboard/#X=0,20000&f=2&sort=d6&page=1
The GPU: My understanding is there isn't much difference between the 1080 brand. I went EVGA because their customer service. I was thinking of getting the Zotac AMP!, the EVGA SC, or the EVGA FTW. All are within 30$ of each other. What should I get and why?
The case: same problem as the motherboard. There's just so many options. People say case doesn't really matter but my old case in my build 5 years ago was kind of noisy and had no dust filters so it needed to be cleaned often. I'd like a case that has great airflow since I will be overclocking CPU, GPU, and RAM, and I'd like dust filters and something easy to clean. The case I picked is kind of pricey at 125$. If it's worth it I'll pay it, but could I get by with something cheaper that will still perform well?
Feel free to critique the rest of the build as well.
>>58504959
You're retarded.
>>58505013
Cool. Answer the questions in the OP though.

>The case
There should be plenty that fit your needs, as long as it fits one or two fans in the front and has decent quality. You might want to decouple your hard drives for silence.

Any LAME transcoder with a GUI for Linux?

From previous thread:
Trying to plug an used GPU into an also used rig I bought, but when booting the PC doesnt "beep" nor display anything.
I tested the GPU on my old rig and it works well.
PSU from new rig is actually more powerful than old rig.
There seems to be no damage to the PCIe port on the new MoBo
What can I do to make it work?
What are you working on, /g/?

Yes I know abiut telnet and ssh.
How are you just now becoming aware of ftp?

nice. you need more animoe stickers tho.
Why isn't it more common for websites to lay out content horizontally? Every website nowadays still lays things out to a fixed width and scrolls up and down, and now with wide monitors you end up with all this pointless unused space on the side. Pic related.
Why not instead format content to a height that matches the browser viewport and scroll from left to right? You could probably fit like 3x more stuff on the screen at once, including ads, especially on text-heavy websites. Why are we still designing websites for square monitors?
Ctrl + mouse scroll up
>>58504705
That just zooms in though. I'm talking about fitting more on the screen at once, not less

Probably because there's licensing fees rather than being an open standard
