I'm pondering encryption in the not-so-remote event some Tyrone might size possession of my stuff.

I have an SSD installed on my laptop. Windows10 (in b4 that's botnet already...) + SadyBridge 2630QM.

How would this work? Bitlocker would use AES algorithm, and my Core i7 would crunch with RELATIVE easy that algorithm, performing encryption and decryption, using its native set of instructions? is this overall mechanism correct?
Am i missing something?

What are the drawbacks? Like, would my system turn out to be INCREDIBLY slow? Would it suck a LOT more power?

there is no point in using windows and encrypting it, probably backdoored
>>

this.

If you're using windows (same with mac probably), then there is no point in encrypting data anymore if the unencrypted data has ever been stored on the SSD. Bitlocker is backdoored too so refrain from using it.

What?
Design the pages in Photoshop, Sketch or Framer then use HTML/CSS to develop it.

Why would you want to take others code?

Any Africans on /g/ right now? Preferably white just because that's what is relevant to my skin color.

If so have you heard of any foreign (white) people able to get security-related (or just IT in general really) jobs over there?

Specifically Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, and South Africa.

How the fuck is that relevant? Do you want to fuck them like the sissy whitey you are or something?
>>
>>58526682

Because it's Africa ie: the king of 'diversity quotas' in many places (especially in SA) so skin color is extremely relevant to hiring there.

i went to botswana. didn't want to learn the language, and demanded that they give me the equivalent of a 20% above minimum wage paycheck for free per month while i "look for work".

after a year of not working, they wanted to take away my welfare check. i claimed racial discrimination, and went to protest in the street. burned a few cars, threw bricks through the windows of local businesses, and generally showed them how appreciative I was to be welcomed into their country which they have built. i claimed that their religion (a mix of local folk and islam) made me feel oppressed.

eventually the population gave in, and decided to give me even more money, (equivalent of a white collar salary) free house, food stipend, and affirmative action into any university and private/public job i wanted. i still criticize them at every chance on social media. all you have to really do is keep it up, they won't do anything to stop you

No.
I'd like to replace my 3930k (4,4) though, but I doubt zen is the answer.
>>
probably going to wait and let rpoozen mature for a few iterations of poo+ and then replace my 4460 with the latest intel offering since they'll have gotten on their feet again by then, unless AMD's integrated graphics solution is somehow better than Intel's in terms of Linux performance/functionality which I sincerely doubt it will be..

Anyone ever seen this weirdo shit? C drive is an SSD, it's fast. F and G are partitions on the same 3TB physical HDD. One partition is retarded slow, the other is nice and fast. Read speed on the F drive is ~2MB/s.
13 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Read/write speed on a partition depends on where the sectors are located physically. I'm pretty sure the difference isn't supposed to be that much, though.
>>
>>58526603
Right. When trying to research the problem all I could find was people talking about the speed being faster at the edge of the disk and to move partitions so large files are at the edge for faster read. That's just for slight optimizations of the normal read speed. This is like... the one partition barely moves and the other functions normally.

So is it basically understood that every shilled FIVE STAR mouse is going to require a separate USB port to function?

I don't get it, do the radio waves go faster if they aren't disrupted by the bluetooth stack?

How come PS/2 dongles never took off? They have power.

Too many retarded questions. Please enlighten me as to why there is STILL a a major mouse divide.

(Even all the webdev fags can agree to base their frameworks on js i mean fuck. Thanks for listening.)

>>
THE PLAN:
If you lose it you have to buy a new one, that's it.

REALITY:
Each and every mouse has a unique "soul mate" dongle that travels around the globe.

From sewers to canals to fjords, these dongles travel upstream and stop at no obstacle to reach their originally paired mate once again.

I know you heartless bastards don't give a shit.

what the fuck you autist
just buy a bluetooth mouse

i'm pretty sure logitech's wireless adapters are some sort of half-assed copypasted "proprietary" wireless data protocol, but they make mice that are straight up Bluetooth as well.
