why do you gnutards use a website that doesn't respect your freedoms?
>>58718291
I'm having no problem using 4chan, infact you're experiencing problems based on proprietary shit you use; so your freedom is missing.
Why don't you use a browser that respects your freedoms?
>>58718291
You're using internet explorer, it doesn't respect your freedom and the version you're using is so outdated it's got security flaws you could fly a jumbo jet through.
Shouldn't watching proprietary movies and listening to proprietary music be in clash with GNU-cuck philosophy who uses only Free as in Freedom software?

Top quality thread, /v/ toddler. You are saving us winfags with all the brain cells you have left :D

How much internet do you usually use / month?
What speed to you get?
This is the month so far on ADSL2 1mb/s-0.1mb/s (thanks australia)
>>58718195
I'm not home much, otherwise it'd be over 400gb/month.
I get cable internet, so 100 down, 3 up
I've been in hospital for about a month. Rather killed my 800GB+ roll.
I'll fix it later.
>>58718251
What caused you to be in a hospital for a whole month?
>ask for advice on /g/

Shouldn't your sign say Go instead of Stop so it's actually the opposite?

Where can I find more lewd mousepads? I'm more into ass myself, eBay and jList have not been able to satisfy my needs. Also post mousepads I guess?

So much that even the characters heads must be asses?
Just type in "Hentai Mousepad" on Amazon and you'll get the results you're looking for.

Use them to download music you enjoy, maybe check out something new. Personally, I've been getting into klezmer recently.
how is having a inf ratio viewed by the notable trackers?
So, has anyone written anything decent on .NET for Linux yet? It's officially Open Source now. It supposedly runs anywhere.
I hope it included WPF.
That thing is amazing.
go fuck yourself shill
why would I use anything else than Qt
KeePass and Docky run on Mono. KeePass has some dodgy as fuck behavior, but Docky is pretty solid (when it's supported).
>>58717668
WPF isn't open source. I think the point of .NET core is mostly the fact that you can write and run ASP.NET applications on more platforms now.
Hopefully we'll get some .NET core bindings for Qt at some point.
> paranoid memesters of "burr durr everything must be open sourced or it's botnet" BTFO'ed.
He clearly talks about faster technologies. When will you realize he is right?
What is the point of having a "better licence" when the software is shit?
He's right about the background services, you can just remove them. He's right about the performance, the alternatives are often shit. He's right about the paranoia, linux in general has main plight and it has nothing to do with the core OS, it just doesn't have that much software that can compete for the Enterprise level to begin with.
Priorities, priorities.
Most people couldn't care less about licenses, and since Chrome is an official company product, it's obviously beneficial to use whatever seems the most convenient for the user, e.g. it's the fastest, or uses least memory, or whatever.
Folks who care about licensing are just willing to trade away some of that speed in exchange for openness.
nice font rendering, can barely fucking read it
I'm currently with a small-scale ISP that offers unmetered access to certain services such as netflix I have been informed by employees at this ISP that they simply pretend this service doesn't exist in order to not track data usage.
Now here's my question, can I somehow route my data through this service or pretend to be routing through them without my ISP realizing?
>>58717599
multiple VPNs
>>58717599
wanna know how i know you're fat ?
>>58717614
How will using VPNs even accomplish this? my ISP will see me connecting to the VPN and still count all data usage right?
I'm obviously not very smart when it comes to networking but I'm thinking the only way it's possible is if i had a proxy/tunnel into their servers which would make it look like I'm just connecting to them normally correct?
how do you exactly launch a cyber nuke ?
>>58717592
first you have to hack into the mainframe
>>58717592
At roughly 250 WPM you will be able to launch.
You have to be bad and rad enough to hax a Gibson and go from there to your heart's content
> He unironically believed .NET isn't the most advanced programming framework on the planet for anything GUI related especially.
I guarantee you with all my years of expertise from assembler code to C to C# that you have never seen anything better than WPF.
But, the bastards won't open source it yet like the rest of .NET like they did last year. I guess it's because it needs DirectX so hard?
>>58717531
It's probably heavily dependent on the win32 API underneath.
Would be cool if they rewrote it so it used OpenGL/Vulkan + whatever crossplatform window handling.
But of course Microsoft don't really care about OpenGL or Vulkan.
>>58717743
I think it's clear that they got scared of the multiplatform reality. It's not that they're scared of linux pe se, linux is small on the GUI world. But, it's linux derivatives like Android, it's all the phones, etc. even Mac so they're like let's explore it.. let's do an exploratory mission into open source.
But it's released on the MIT license! That's pretty cool. The spergs about it won't complain much, even linux distros include MIT licensed programs routinely.
