This is what distinguishes a good programmer from a code monkey.
Some people become sportsmen for the money. Some people become sportsmen because they like it and want to contribute to his favourite team.
>b-but MUH ENTERPRIZE LANGUAGE :D
>b-but muh ENTERPRIZE IDE that EBERY ENDERPRIZE uses to torture us circus apes.
>b-but it's cool becuz ENTERPRIZE BUSINESSMEN think it's da best !!!11!1!
And this is why we have so many shitty programs. They do NOT care about their codes unless their boss tells them to do so.
>But why Linux programs are shitty
I would not say it is shitty, I'd say most of them lack some mainstream features. As far as the codebase goes, many closed sourced, paid projects *cough*Micros**t*cough* are pretty horrible down under. Sometimes they are SO horrible that the hired apes can't track what's going on that monsterous pile of unmaintained legacy codebase.
Meanwhile free and open source community projects usher development from different parts of the world. Linux is an example of the biggest colaborative effort in the world. There will be shortcomings but someday, someone will implement missing features purely because it's devotion that drives these people, not wage money.
Hobby programmers are the best programmers - Prove me wrong.

Just allow root login for ssh, ssh-copy-id and just ssh into root without a password needed.
alias kek="ssh root@localhost"

If you really wanted to, you could just add your user to nopasswd in the sudoers file...
This is a retarded solution as it won't allow pipes or anything else...

Why is this news worthy? W7 has 3 more years of MS support left and a huge market share.
>>58777248
They depend on poorfags, so they should support XP too.

Programming is a terrible profession. For one, you are not respected at any normal company. You're known as 'IT' or 'tech' and everyone gossips about how disgusting everyone is in the department. Every day, some Alpha who probably does nothing at his job except get his secretary to suck his dick in his corner office cucks you into doing random bitch work, and then yells at you when it's not done by the deadline despite it being impossible to complete the work requested. Not only that, the code rarely works, your co-workers are smelly Indians brought in by Tata Consultancy and connive to replace your job at all times for half the salary, and the work never, ever ends. You pollute your body with sugar and toxins, deprive it of sleep, and let it rot while you sit the majority of the day, neglecting any healthy exercise, social interaction or life goal attainment. It's like a Postal worker, but coupled with feelings of patheticness, loneliness, helplessness, rage and total hopelessness.
Women, when they hear you are a programmer, instantly remove you from the potential pool of mates as they know your earning potential is maxed early and your career over at 35. They are also instantly disgusted by you. It is far better to tell a woman you are on welfare than to out yourself as a computer programmer. It's also highly embarrassing for a woman to date or be married to a programmer, as virtually everyone knows they are the grown up version of the hopeless virgin in high school. One who never really grew up and became normal and fit into society, but rather found an environment where he could escape the reality of his situation and be invisible, able to hide the toxic shame and utter humiliation that is the programmer.
After Dentists, programmers have the highest rates of mental disorders, especially depression and suicide.
Programmers, why haven't you taken the cyanide pill?
i don't like to post stuff like this but
you really sound like a 12 year old that doesn't know wtf he's talking about

>For one, you are not respected at any normal company. You're known as 'IT' or 'tech' and everyone gossips about how disgusting everyone is in the department.
If you've actually worked for a software company, you're the main employee and everyone else are there to help the programmers.
>Women, when they hear you are a programmer, instantly remove you from the potential pool of mates as they know your earning potential is maxed early and your career over at 35.
Also false.
Nice bait though, made me reply.

suppose i have this code.
is there a way to use a variable in a for loop that already has a value assigned to it?
i don't necessarily want to assign a new variable with the same value to work with that value.

i'm a bit disenchanted with the rpg today, senpai.
Is it OK to run a load balancer on a VM instead of separate machine like F5?
I'm using HAproxy, and i'm not talking about support and features. I just want to understand if/why it's a good habit.

Tried Linux Mint Cinnamon for the first time, holy shit the shills aren't lying: everything works, it looks perfect out of the box, the Cinnamon DE is the best DE I've ever used in Linux...
Only downside is a bunch of software came preinstalled that I will probably remove. Minor annoyance. I am in the process of copying a bunch of files and stuff from my Manjaro install, I plan on switching 100 percent to Mint for the beauty and stability
