Is even possible to reverse search a facebook profile based on a photo they have?
>>58789484
/g/ is not your personal Google, read the sticky and go to >>>/g/sqt or >>>/wsr/
>>58789497
google tells me is impossible because of security reasons (They haven't implemented it yet).
>>58789484
For facebook it is impossible if you are not FBI, but ruskies did the same thing for their facebook (vk) and it allows every pleb find people by photo.
Why fuck is 4chan so fucking slow? Images and webms take an eternity to load.
>GOOOOOK MOOOOOT
Just werks for me on GNU+Linux
Same, I got fast internet but I still get slow loading most of the time
I've noticed this for the past week or so.
Why isn't text cropping via selection a system-wide thing in windows/osx/linux gui?
>select some text
>ctrl+x
>ctrl+a
>ctrl+v
This is unacceptable in the current year.

Compressed air once every couple of months, as you should anyway
Only people living on lumber yards would have problems

How secure is bitlocker?
I feel that I have to ask this question, seeing how this is a built-in feature in Windows.
Naturally I have some things on an external storage device that can absolutely ruin me. From what I've seen Bitlocker can be compromised by a cold boot attack, but seeing as I'm using an external device this seems like a non problem. All things considered I think my files are safe and if anyone wanted to ever make use of my storage device they would need wipe the content.
what are your thoughts?
>all welcome <3
backdoored closed source botnet
it's fine against normies though
>>58789181
Just use veracrypt. Although you need admin privileges for ceracrypt drivers.
>>58789181
Don't trust anything that comes with windows.
MS absolutely cannot be trusted with your privacy.
Veracrypt.
Guys which is the best custom firmware for an Asus RT-AC68U? I've been having terrible issues with bufferbloat and I'm told that using a QoS with "active queue management" can greatly alleviate this problem.
I see OpenWRT, DD-WRT, and Tomato come up a lot. What shall I do?
Well going through the openWRT forums, it looks like it's not supported, despite the fact that it's one of the most widely used routers. So that's off the list.
DD-WRT vs. Tomato then?
Asuswrt-Merlin, of course.
>>58789263
Isn't that comes comes by default? The screenshots look exactly the same?
Are so many of you webtards so poor you can't afford a quality OS so you shit on it whenever it comes up?
Spending thousands on a build and then cheeping out when it comes to the OS just makes you damn stupid.
>>58789091
What kind of argument is this
>Hey poorfag buy this rock, dont cheap out on it
nobody is dumb enough to buy windows 10
It's not about the price, it's about not being part of yet another botnet.
OSS OSs are rougher, true, but freedom can not be achived with Windows. All /g/entoomen should know that.
I always knew this guy was an overrated hack.
He should be in jail for stealing Indian people's code. John Romero was right about this faggot taking credit for other people's work.
>"Carmack intentionally destroyed data on his computer after he got notice of this litigation and right after he researched on Google how to wipe a hard drive,"
what expression is that on his face? he almost looks like a thief
I thought he literally did write a bunch of quake. Maybe he was shit hot back in the day but has had trouble learning new technologies and resorted to coasting on past success mixed with plagiarism (theft).
He's still my childhood hero.
Are there actually jobs for people with 2-year cybersecurity degrees?
>>58789011
lmao
>>58789011
Yes of course -- Desk-side support installing software and cleaning viruses off computers.
>>58789011
Well yeah, there's twice as many jobs if you have 2 degrees. Everyone knows that.
How do you reconcile with the fact that 4chan isn't libre and open source you fucking Stallman autists
>>58788985
go back to /v/
>>58788985
4chan is only for advocating open source software. I do my real posting on reddit
I don't. I'm a succesful individual that long has progressed past the need for such silly things as 'free' software.
Posted from my Windows 10 machine.
Considering that the Gameboy player alone isnt just a gameboy advance inside (At least thats what google tells me) Its only a decoder for the Gamecube to play gameboy advance games with the help of a disk with instructions.
Given that we are now rendering gameboy games from a gamecube, would it be possible for the gameboy player to render outside of the gameboys specifications?
Possibly
What are you trying to do?
>>58788917
Not so much doing anything. More just curious as to what nintendo's plan might've been to "bottleneck" emulation to play like it was on the handheld.
I was curious if a game that really pushed the gameboy advance to its limits, suffering from dropped frames. Could the gamecube render the game better?

>Considering that the Gameboy player alone isnt just a gameboy advance inside (At least thats what google tells me) Its only a decoder for the Gamecube to play gameboy advance games with the help of a disk with instructions
I'm not sure this is true. I always thought the Game Boy Player contained real GBA hardware, and this page on the Dolphin wiki seems to confirm it: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Game_Boy_Player
>Unlike devices such as Datel's Advance Game Port, the Game Boy Player does not use software emulation, but instead uses physical hardware nearly identical to that of a Game Boy Advance.
>>58788946
I guess this might have been possible. Even if the Game Boy Player contained a hardware GBA (I really think it does,) they might have been able to overclock the CPU. I don't know enough about GBA hardware to say if this would break compatibility or not. There are a lot of emulators out there for various platforms that let you increase or unlock the CPU clock to decrease stuttering, but when you start messing with timing like that, you run the risk of breaking games, for example, if (intentionally or unintentionally) a game has a built in assumption that a certain operation on the CPU will complete in a certain amount of time, it would break if the CPU speed is radically different. These kind of assumptions happened a lot on older consoles, since a game never had to run on anything other than an exact copy of the original hardware.
Hi, /g/. I have a Chuwi Hi8 Pro that is amazing, however the screen was cracked and it quit responding to touch.
I replaced the screen, and while it solved the cracked screen issue, only the top half of the screen responds to touch. The screen is only connected via ribbon, and I have reseated it several times.
What else could be the issue?
>>58788849
Recently bought the Hi10 Pro, the Wi-Fi is terrible - I can barely use my tablet in a different room than the one my router is.
Can I do anything? For the Windows side, I can just USB tether my phone, but what about Android?
Other than that, my only issue was the charger cable not allowing file transfer, but I could get over that since I have an external HDD.
How's the performance in windows? Is the limited RAM an issue? I just ordered an Onda V80 Plus which is basically the same thing but with full metal build
>>58790540
Performance is fine on the Hi10 Pro, but the processor can't handle too many things at once, it will have slowdowns if you use too much stuff at the same time
>>58789488
Also for this, I moved the router 2 cm away, removed some items around it and changed its channel from 1 to 13 - it's now working well, watching a Livestream right now without interruptions in a different room from my router. Distance on air should be around 4 meters from my tablet - don't have LoS, but door is open
It's somewhere somewhere on Earth - like Ausfailia. Time for an aircon thread.
>tfw over 35 degrees almost every day and that 45 degrees on monday

Air conditioners are technology
But Australian are poorly insulated so they work their balls off
It's 38c here in Vic. I'm in my room with the door closed and window open running my 8350 at 100%. If you've got your air con on you're the reason why I'm paying through the fucking ballz on power.
Is it possible to make this bigger? Beyond the Large option?
