What's the most racist language? Something which pisses off and preferably even kills niggers?
currently in the middle of obsessing over Julia.
its quickly becoming my favorite lang.

How can a programming language kill anyone?
How badly am I fucking up if I use part of my $977 tax return to buy this?
>>58909914
What do you currently have? How badly do you want this? Are there no "used- like new" options available from Amazon Warehouse that are cheaper?
>>58909914
well pretty bad, i mean it's an asus for starters
>>58909952
Nothing from Asus has ever let me down

A GTX 780 and I really need the upgrade the card I have now is 4 years old. as far as used I feel creepy buying used computer parts
It sucks that no laptop actually match a mac in terms of looks and performance. I dont think anything even comes close. Even the os is better, sadly (though gnu linux is better than both).
Funny how when it comes to phones theres a plethora of great choices and cheap makers such as xiami that deliver amazing products yet laptops are limited to basically macs

No idea what you are talking about, every review when the MBP is pitted against pic related the MBP gets dismantled. Pretty much the XPS 15 OLED is THE perfect laptop.
-best in class battery life with 97wh battery
-tied best screen in a laptop period against the Alienware 13 OLED
-best performance and cooling, zero throttling vs. the ThrottleBook Pro
There is zero review out there where the MBP wins against the XPS.
The new Dell XPS and Precision boxes absolutely destroy all Macbooks in build quality, configurability, expandability, performance, and long-term viability. They also can be ordered with the latest Ubuntu LTS pre-installed if you want a pretty looking unix-like OS with a dock, global menu and the like. Also, more ports, space for two drives, and battery life that is absolutely stellar. My Precision7510 will long out-last the latest MBPro, and if something goes wrong, I can take it apart and fix it easily. Also, there's no soldered ram :^)

I thought there were things that were outright required now, like rearview cameras.
>Replace broken HDD in wife's laptop
>Install Windows 7
>No drivers
>Can't connect to internet because no wireless drivers
>No ethernet adapter drivers
>Can't load them onto laptop
>No USB drivers
That's fucking it. I'm installing Elementary OS and being done with this shit
DL them with a wired connection. Or put them on a CD.
>>58909466
Just install the drivers manually.
>>58909480
>No ethernet drivers
Nope.
Yes I could use a CD, if this were 2006 and I still had blank CD's around. As it stands I'm in a new decade and haven't needed those in quite some time.
I tap out. Windows is no longer for me. I'm starting the conversion

This right here is Walmart's "Area 71" datacenter. That's right, it's a literal and absolutely fucking massive botnet. If you've ever set foot in a Walmart, you've been botnetted. If you've ever protested against Walmart, you've been botnetted. If you've reported on suc protests, you've been botnetted. If you were for some reason dumb and connected to their wifi, all of your personal emails are now theirs and the botnet's. If for some reason you're working there, you're actively being spied on by the botnet.
People are quick to scream "BOTNET" with the traditional companies (Google, MS, Yahoo, et al), but many don't realize that Walmart is also a massive botnet. Arguably, a far more scarier botnet that's actually real and literal.
>All of the data are precious to Wal-Mart.
I save money. That's what matters.
Babby's first botnet
t. Costco
>>58909254
That doesn't even make sense to have a datacenter that big for storing customer data and doing analytics.
You could seriously do that on like 1-2 racks.
Hey /g/uys i just installed opera but I can't find any good extension like noscript in Firefox..any suggestions? I cannot live without noscript..in my opinion noscript https-everywhere and disconnect are a must have for a decent browser.
>>58909216
Just install firefox
>>58909216
After some version opera just became a chrome clone with a different gui.. Chrome extensions should work fine - download them & install in opera under developer/expert/whatever mode it got renamed to..

Do you ever use goto, anon?
Why or why not?
Yes, because I occasionally write in assembly
I'm not a kernel developer, so no.

How do people get caught torrenting?
I am currently torrenting some music production software, valued at around 6-800$.
I am not using a VPN, I am unable too (don't ask why)
Realistically, what are the chances I am caught?

Just dialed up a 192kbps tune I got off Napster almost 20 years ago, that's been transferred from HDD to HDD, several times over... sounds crystal clear over a high end system.
Remind me again why this loseless audio tech is relevant outside of business applications...
You have lost data by copying the file so many times compounded with data decay from old files. This has greatly effected the rotational velocidensity meaning sound quality is nowhere as good as the original file.
>This has greatly effected the rotational velocidensity meaning sound quality is nowhere as good as the original file
C'mon man... it sounds exactly the same. Pull up your oldest files and have a listen.
lossless is not about audio quality
Is this meme or not meme?

Honestly it does help with eye strain. But it doesn't improve my sleeping habits.
Whatever gains you found, you lost using your smartphone.
It's literally shit made for retards.
Does GNU plus Linux do this too? Arch, for example? I'm so tired of all the weird and useless stuff happening under the hood with MS Windows.
I'd really like to switch over completely. I don't depend on Windows-only software that much anymore.

There's some kinds of hidden, "protected" folders that contain random images uploaded from my phone. Not all of them, just a few.
