How do I log into Youtube and not Google (search page?)
I don't want all the filth I search for being associated with my email
>>58914245
Use seperate accounts for each in different browsers faggot, is it that hard to read the banner "log in to access all of this free shit services in exchange of your info"
>>58914271
i dont wanna use different browsers
>>58914438
Use chromium without the Google proprietary packages. Use two separate accounts in two separate windows. Good enough I'd say. Or at least clear cookies/cache/history before and after using the filth account.
Next time please use /sqt/
When did mousepads become a meme?
When the optical mouse got released.
>>58914234
When Razer decided to put LEDs on them and gaymans liked and ignored the fact they were being scammed.
When Razer reached the point where anything with their logo will sell
I'm surprised there aren't any Apple mousepads
Which VPN do you use, anon?
Custom botnet
whatever. as long as it's logless
None. Why would I?
Can you make the UI smaller in Windows 10 at 1080p? I have a 60 inch screen and I'd like to make my workspace smaller than 100% to make better use of it.
http://superuser.com/questions/84386/can-the-gui-be-scaled-down-in-windows-7
This doesn't seem to be working.
>>58913898
>windows 10
there is your problem
Yes, go into monitor settings or whatever it's called and change the DPI
>>58914042
It doesn't let you go below 100% in that menu, though.

Reminder that debian is an SJW distro and that devuan will replace it and reign supreme.
I'm fairly new to using apt and I'm finding it awkward. Say I want to find a version of a package I have installed but I don't know the exact name of the package? How can I search for the package and see the package version at the same time? So far it seems I have to use two different commands for this.
>>58913936
I definitely recommend Devuan over Debian.
>>58913944
To be honest you hit a sweet spot. I hope you find your answer.
This is the current state of Microsoft's artwork craftsmanship

Running all this shit in a VM is just a cucking pain in the arse.
how do you cunts do it?
I'm going to have to either install windows as a fucking dual boot option, or just wipe ganoo lunix, becasue with windows installed - there's practically no need for it.
>>58913493
just do it anon. If you need these softwares for work, nothing can be done.
>>58913493
Switch to Windows and swallow all your "muh freedom" complex, as all responsible adults do.
If you're using proprietary software there's no point in not using a proprietary OS
I guess I don't understand much about lossless encoding. How come transcoding an x264 file in lossless mode just to put hardsubs in yields a file much larger than the original? Where are the bits being added?
I'm not retarded, faggot.
You can't compress a bit to less than a bit, that's fucking retarded, you can't have 0.5 of a byte what the fuck is this shit.
These people claim to be giving 'higher' quality for less size:
say we have a 320MB 10 bit release
and a 500MB 8 bit release
There's a 180MB difference between them, and 0.64% of the 10 but release is composed of half bits.
Now we've already been though this half bits DON'T EXIST! That's 0.65 OF THE ANIME THAT DOESN'T EXIST!
Not only does it not exist. all of those half bits have to be removed from the video while it's playing.
Where do you think they go?
On your hard drive that's where, and because they can't exist, they can't be moved or overwritten. Noticed your HDD decreasing in size recently?
High 10 fucking p.
Enjoy your 'superior' quality faggots.
>>58913289
i havent seen this pasta recently, is this new?
>>58913316
It's ancient
Just installed Gentoo.
Portage is probably the most retarded package manager. Absolutely retarded.
It's way better to use Arch with a properly configured kernel.
>i'm not used to it so it is bad
>>58913246
is this a new pasta
>>58913257
>muh use flags
What's the point of using it? The only advantage of Gentoo is the fact that it forces you to choose the modules and configure the kernel
Thoughts on Rust?

Apple Pencil or Surface Pro pen, which will allow me to actually write a sentence that does not look like it's written by an autistic 5 year old with his non-dominant hand?
>>79354686
Have you tried a Ticonderoga pencil?
>>58913107
None of those, use real paper.
The MS pen is a generic wacom one btw
>>58913107
Took notes for grad school with the Surface Pro 1 pen. The 4 is supposed to be better.
Rumor has it, there is a Surface Pro 5 coming with an updated pen in March.
kdenlive can't process sound right, openshot can't process sound right. Is there any video editor made by freetards that actually works?
All I'm trying to do is attach a static image either an MP3 or WAV file to a video so I can put my music on youtube. I'm surprised that in the year of our lord 2017 this still can't be accomplished
>>58913056
use ffmpeg, you cretin
ffmpeg -loop 1 -r 1 -i image.png -i music.mp3 -map 0 -map 1 -c:v libx264 -c:a aac -strict -2 -shortest shitty_video.mp4
>>58913204
the programs listed are dependent on ffmpeg for encoding
Meanwhile on windows
Open premiere, drag n drop song/drag n drop picture/ adjust for the lenght of the song/export
Use premiere only cause I'm used to it, there are surely better ways
So my wife's boyfriend just installed this shitshow of an operating system on my computer, and now I can't boot into windows anymore. How the fuck do I fix this shit? I can't even play any games.

Hey /g/ays
I'm starting out with Java after sort of getting the hang of Python, but I decided I needed to move on with other stuff.
Anyways, I'm looking for good interpreters, everyone mentions Eclipse or NetBeans but those seem a bit bloated and my pc it's pretty slow, python's IDE was great because it did everything I needed without useless things.
Any help?
Eclipse is fairly good, netbeans looks ugly as fuck and it always gives me problems.
>>58912827
IntelliJ or GTFO
Eclipse second place
Netbeans never
I use Intellij IDEA personally.
Never used Netbeans but idea is definitely a lot more pleasurable to work with compared to eclipse.

Anyone have the latest Samsung Galaxy S7 root method? For Android 6 obviously.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-s7/how-to/how-to-notes-root-install-xposed-unroot-t3411039
Is outdated and there's a new version of xposed I found. Just wondering if there's a more effecient method since this one requires fixes to be installed after.
Anyone who work as programmer, is it worth to get master degree in IT at uni? Is it gonna be needed in future career? I got only engineer degree and i have almost 2 years of work experience.
