So my dudes macbook went to shit and asked me if I could save his music he mixed himself so I told him I'd give it a try. HD was already out so i plugged it in to my pc with this usb and power cables I got for internal HDs and it wouldn't show up. Tried to find it on management and it wouldn't load properly so I set the drive offline. Let us assume I am a huge fucking computer dumbass, what do I do?

Dear /G/ods!
Been coding for a couple of months and I've learnt vanilla JS and jquery quite well but I'm still very much a newbie so here's my question:
I've seen many <noun>.JSes around but ppl only ever talk about angular, node, react and the occasional vue. Are Ember.js and Backbone.js memes? Is it even worth learning them in the first place if they underperform compared to those mentioned? Or do they fill in different niches?
Also, if you wanted to build a website that has an admin page and you can change images and shite with ease, which library would you look to?

I'm starting to see a lot of new stuff with USB Type C as the main connection port.
Do you guys think that USB C or something like it will eventually replace all of our old ports and devices? As in like USB drives, phone chargers, mouse & keyboard wires, etc?
Or am I a fuck boy who day dreams too much?

But anyways, it's Microsoft. Microsoft fucked up. They invested in WP7 but then restarted with the Silverlight technology, creating these hybrid Win RT apps... and all wp7 phones had to be abandoned. Then they abandoned Silverlight tech, creating W10 technology, and the W8 phones had to be abandoned.
And the market has just given up caring. They don't even care. They don't market it. Their development team is literally just a bunch of scrappy megafans that get paid nice money to program for a dead platform.
Maybe it will revive itself when UWP is finally as powerful as Win32. But right now, it's not.

I've used wacom digitizers like Bamboo, Samsung Note, and Thinkpad x220. Also Surface Pro. They were all shit for writing.
