Okay so i have i5 6400 CPU which runs at 2.7 GHz and its locked i think.

So it has turbo boost of 3.3 GHz and i enabled turbo boost so i want to know how to know when turbo boost kicks in? When does it go from 2.7 to 3.3?

Which piece of software can check it out? Also i am using default cooler which came in box, im planning on swaping it today but can it cause my games to drop fps drasticly in few seconds ?

hello friendos.

so i know i'm a bit behind the times but i'm considering buying a raspberry pi kit.
it's about 200 dollarydoos which includes a pi 3, 7 inch touch screen, power cords etc.
i have a boner for hardware, i still fuck around with my psp that has cfw. i want to start learning to code and i'll be travelling around nepal and yurop later this year.
originally i was going to buy a cheapish laptop to bring travelling with me, but now i'm wondering if it's viable to do everything on a pi with an ssd for good measure.
i don't want to do anything hectic. i'll probably play some dos games, have a few programs to teach me basic coding and shitpost on the internet with it.
i guess my main concern is the 1gb of ram. i know i'm not going to be able to run a bunch of programs at once, but 1gb is enough for daily shit like word processing etc, right?

what i'm asking is am i going to buy this pi (and do you guys think pi's are worth it) only to say "i need more" and buy a cheap laptop later on anyway? my friend is saying "pi's are just a step above smart phones and a step below a laptop", but are they really that useless?

Alright boys, I have the budget for a new phone, which is 1000€, so price is not an issue.
What's the absolute best phone of this early 2017? I already saw the s8 and the g6 and I'm not impressed, so I want to get something that is already available.
