Tips for you:
- Pick up some books, or e-books, or open a few wikipedia articles on computer tech. Or learn to read PDF's and analyze pictures of tech provided on the same sites and in PDF's.
Find a motherboard schematic, learn the name of each medium to big component on it, learn what it does, learn why it does it, do the same for the GPU board and the RAM board.
- Grow up; since LTT is aimed at ~14 year olds as his video on his fan gathering showcased.
- Increase your standards in regards to the kinds of YouTube channels you follow. LTT is bottom of the barrel in the technology category.
Google "list of informative tech channels" and put a "-linus -linustechtips -techquickie -teksyndicate" and so forth with minuses in front, until you find an article list with seemingly boring as fuck looking YouTube channels with hardware on thumbs, because those are the actual informative and educational ones.

Are unsalted AES encrypted data less or more secure than a salted counterpart for the purpose of simply protecting against being read?
I understand why CBC is used instead of ECB, but the "vector" of an attacker sending the same encrypted message to sort of pose as someone else is not a factor here. This data is decrypted from storage by a client, then sent over SSL/TLS to a service.
