Why don't we call it systemd/xorg/gnu/Linux?
>>59222859
Because the fat fuck neckbeards that use linux couldn't say that without running out of breath.
Asking the real questions here: Does he have a standing desk in this jet?

Still wondering what AMD failed to delivered based on there promises. Which is something that is similar to Broadwell-E at half the price. Which is what they gave so still don't know what all the fuss is about.
Nice campaign, Intel!

Hello guys, I was on here last night asking for support with veracrypt, thankfully I got a few helpful answers but beyond my scope of understanding unfortunately.
:
I don't post here often, and I have searched around but cannot find any answers for this.
How do i use veracrypt for full disk encryption while running Windows 8.1 64bit. Before you start berating me for the OS, this is for a friend.
I do notice that veracrypt supports Windows 10, but does it support Windows 10 64bit? Because as I said i'm on 8.1 64, and as much as I hate windows 10, if upgrading to Windows 10 64bit will allow full disk encryption I may figure that it is worth it.
Debian GNU+Linux doesn't have this problem
>I do notice that veracrypt supports Windows 10, but does it support Windows 10 64bit?
Nigga please. Does Windows 10 32 bit even exist? You should worry more about Veracrypt not supporting UEFI vs BIOS.

here is the old thread:

one of the guys suggested enabling legacy boot, however he did mention that it is difficult and if done wrong I could brick my machine.

Replace C and Haskell with Lisp and it's accurate.
Hey, /g/. Got this thinkpad today for about 100usd (I'm not american). How can I enhance my thinkpad? Is the original memory DDR2 or DDR3? Should I exchange for a DDR3 dual channel? Also I'll put an EVO 850 tomorrow.
The fan dissipator is bent. Does this mean it was already opened? The HDD sticker is intact thought. Is it possible to open the thinkpad without messing with the HDD port?
The HDD sticker is intact.
Do I need to exchange the motherboard in order to put an i7? But I don't think I'll do that, since the i5 is pretty much enough for my daily use.
Windows 10 came installed as you can see. What OS do you people use?
WHERE ARE THE FRAMETIMES COMPARISON OF RYZEN AND INTEL

Where does /g/ colocate their servers
How much do you pay and for what services?
What do you run on your colocated server(s)?
Also, general colocation discussion.
I upload all my files unencrypted to the cloud.

I'm looking at picking up a used Dell PoweEdge R720XD or R620 and loading it for bare, and racking it in a colocated data center.
Does anyone here use Opera?
I'm thinking of switching to it because FF has been crashing a lot lately.
I used it.
Switched to Seamonkey.
I dont regret it
>>59221746
Opera is a good browser but it's closed source, chromium based and recently sold to a chinese company so switching to it from firefox is taking a huge step back in many ways. So i would recommend disabling some useless plugins and changing some setting in about:config so firefox works likes it used to again or switching to pale moon. Opera's a great browser though i use it to cast muh anime to chromecast.
>>59221746
I am using opera-dev. Works perfectly

I'm going to buy one of those but come on, it ain't gonna OC to 4.5. It's gonna go to 4.2 like the 1800X did
It's inconsistent as fuck, like most AMD launches.

Me and my wife are huge Linux fans.
She has a GNU pillow and a Tux pillow, and a very cute Tux tshirt.
I own a Linux Coffee Mug and a sweater with Bash commands.
We are a bit into merchandise but I only mentioned the Linux/GNU stuff.
(So our life is not only GNU/Linux, there are several other things we like)
So we plan to have children and we have a list of potential names.
One of the potential male names is Linus.
Yes its a bit weired but keep in mind its only one of many.
So... She wants to edit it into ,,Linus Richard".
Either that or I have to delete Linus from our list.
I argued how bad Richard sounds but all she answered was I should delete it.
is she right?
