My room sucks for surround, so I am considering a soundbar - everyone says to stay away from soundbases though, because they really suck.
So my only choice is a soundbar, should I get a 2.1 , or something that 'emulates' (not sure of a better word) 5.1 or 7.1?
Other thing though, I don't want a soundbar with a fucking wireless subwoofer , I would prefer a soundbar WITH a subwoofer, but non wireless.
Am I just completely sol on this?
Soundbars are trash, buy 2 little bookshelf speakers and a subwoofer. it's really not that hard to set up and sounds 3 times better.

>having a subwoofer
>not just building your own 3-way floor speakers with actual woofers
ok so no soundbar then
I'm this long into a "4:20 hour transition to woke"
127 minutes(2:07:52:45 hours)/260minutes(4:20:00 hours)
= (how long ago I domed the edible)/(how long it takes to dome a tunech) = %100(12-digit decimal value from the other side of this equation)
Which is the the percentage of progress im currently at through this 4:20 hour decalcification.

what the heck is snap and does ANYONE want to see a picture of my balls
>>59295832
Literally everyone knew Snap was overvalued. I can't find records of anybody claiming Snap is a buy. On the entire internet. Literally nobody.
I never understood the logic of how large companies form out of one popular app.
Do they really need an entire building of employees to maintain one app? Wouldn't it be better to have a tight knit team of a dozen or so? Trying to get into the hardware business also seems incredibly risky to begin with considering the amount of competition that already do things better let alone the headache actually overseeing shipment and maintaining Q&A of actual physical products are compared to shitting out something digitally.

WHAT DID HE MEAN BY THIS
Hey /g/ I have a job interview with next week. I'm a sysadmin
I do really bad in interviews but I really want this job cuz it'll finally put me over 100k (110k actually).
The last technical interview I had was for desktop support like 6 years ago, since then, all of my interviews were with people I had previously worked with and it was already guaranteed that I'd get the job.
pic from google.
Anyone else got some career shit going?
>>59295641
I'm a temp working in hardware and network support so no not really
Just do a lot of interviewing. Apply to a lot of places and roll the dice. Dress the part, brush up on whatever the mentioned in the job description, and have a beer and some gum beforehand.
I'm making bank but starting to dislike office politics. I also would like to bang my project manager before I get fired.
I'm a network engineer, my CCNA expires soon so I've started studying for my NP. The motivation comes and goes. I've decided I don't like networking all that much and am not crazy about where the industry is heading. I enjoy programming and we are getting ACI soon, but I predict that since all networks are pretty similar, SDN won't mean that network engineers program their own environments, it'll mean that networking will become as dull as windows server administration. No clue what my next move is going to be. Still going to get my NP because it'd be stupid to let my certs go at this point in my career, but I may try to pivot into something else in the near future.
Any other network guys feel the same way?
And then the icons on my desktop went blank for a sec. It happened right after I downloaded a torrent. Am I being watched now?
thank you for calling /g/ - tech support. please hold while we connect you to a representative BEEP

I ran an export on my apple MDM server and found an interesting key in the database: "activation_lock_bypass_code".sudo psql -h /Library/Server/ProfileManager/Config/var/PostgreSQL -U _devicemgr -d devicemgr_v2m0 -c "select * from devices where mdm_target_type = 'ios';"
Maybe there is a solution for all the Jamals, Tyrones and Shaniquas that browse /g/? What do you think /g/?
Interesting find, but how do you suppose this could be used to solve the Jamal problem?
>>59295595
This only works for devices connected to that particular MDM you fucking idiot.

What do I do /g/? Will installing another OS free me from the botnet?
It's botnet unless it's Ryzen

Linux Mint XFCE for maximum comfy.
Since the 1080 ti is coming out I realize my 1060 is now obsolete should I just sell it and save the rest for a 1080?
are you retarded? what part of the 1080ti releasing makes your already very high end, current gen gpu obsolete
>>59295544
>very high end, current gen gpu
It can barely hit 1080p 60 fps on max settings dude.
The gen has nothing to do with it.

The problem here is something on your end, not the card.
Sup /g/, I just built a new computer and I'm having audio issues. There is a horrible screeching/ buzzing coming from my audio feed. My old desktop had the same exact issue. The only thing that i kept from the old computer is my CPU. Everything else is brand new, including all audio and video cables. I tried 3 different audio cards, in as many different spots as possible, with as many different headphones/ wires/ configurations possible. The problem is the same even with onboard audio. All of my drivers are up to date. There is nothing else turned on ANYWHERE near my computer. No tv's monitors, amps, phones, NOTHING. The noise changes when i scroll on a screen, and it gets MUCH worse when i load a game. Im at a loss, what the fuck can it possibly be?
>>59295283
you need a dac
Enlighten me, what is that?
>>59295283
i'll ask the obvious:
your headphones/columns work properly?
The only good OS made by Microsoft

Does anyone know which dll the stupid little up button is located in? It's not in explorerframe, it's not in the shellstyle, it's not in explorer.exe, it's not in any place I could possibly think about. I have tried google, and get no references to anyone who has done it before, but I know it is possible some how, some way.
I know you're not my personal army, but if any of you care about customization, I could really use some help here.
Bump for interest.
Okay, I will pay anyone $10 USD via paypal if they can find this out, just post a temp email setup to a paypal, and I will literally pay you money for an answer.
