How long will RIM support BB10? It's such a good OS it'd be a shame to abandon it right away.
>>59309416
BB10 is basically dead.
It's a shame because BB10 is objectively better than either iOS or Android.

Hey /g/, Business major here really not enjoying it and very seriously want to switch my major to Information Technology. However, I'm a little scared, as I've already switched my major from Computer Engineering to Business because the math/science classes fucked me, honestly should've switched it to IT in the first place but the professor I talked to the first year who told me it was the most math intensive thing in the world scared me out of it.
I'm looking at all the coursework, and they all look like classes that are entirely based on coding, which is honestly what I feel I'm interested in. The catch is I have very limited experience with coding, all I've done is visual basic and HTML, I didn't struggle with either at all and got above 3.0s in both the visual basic courses I took, but I do remember having sleepless nights to get through the final project of that visual basic course. I'm asking you /g/, as somebody who's failed 2 calculus courses, do you think I'll be able to handle the courseload for IT, or do you think it'll prove too difficult for me?
I have pretty much infinite money for school since my parents are rich and I'm only 20, so those factors aren't really what I'm concerned about, just if I'll even be able to handle the degree at all.
Pic unrelated.
fuck off we're full

Do you like solving puzzles? Do you like taking a complex problem apart and solving it piece by piece? Because that's what programming is. Solving problems. Pick a language. ANY Language and go solve some algorithms with them. If that is fun and you can get trough it without struggling too much then sure you can be a programmer.
There are literally a shitton of free learning resources for you to try coding. CS50x, FreeCodeCamp, the Odin Project, Project Euler and a fuckton of others. Just go do that for a few weeks and see if you like it.
I'm going from a 2500K to an 1800X, but apparently MSVC relies more on single thread performance?
Help me /g/, am I being deceived or how badly did I fuck up
>>59309092
get the 1700x, better value and the higher clock speeds help it compared to the 1700 vs the 7700k, and competes nicely with the 6800/6850k
price to performance, but wait maybe another week let windows and amd push out some fixes
>>59309134
Wait, is the 1700X better for what I want than the 1800X?
Not too worried about value, just figured I could avoid dropping 1k on a CPU and get basically the same performance
>>59309154
1800x is good, but honestly, i think 1700x is the real star. $100 less, can compete with the 6900k in way. It just hits that sweet spot imo

I have been dealing with this error since the start of 2016. I have restarted my pc from default, also clean whiped all graphics drivers and installed them step by step the cleanest way posible. I sent my pc for repair at least 3 times and they said everything reguarding both software and hardware was doing good and I just dont know what to do anymore... I tried everything online so far.
Look at it! http://i.imgur.com/gNnpfuY.png
Worst part is when you try a new fix you found and you say "it's finally over" just to see it restart 15 minutes later. At this point I lost all hope.
I tried changing power options. Also tried changing startup and recov options: http://i.imgur.com/gPimZZu.png
Tried memory test, tried to see if it was a temperature problem (as it always only restarts when Im watching a video or playing games)...
These are my specs: http://i.imgur.com/UkKZOg9.png
Literally the only thing I havnt tried yet is get a new PSU but when i sent my pc for repairs the dude said my Power supply was good. Should I change it anyways? I need help.
Run furmark for faulty power, I had that same problem
>>59309084
>faulty power
How did u solve it? I did ran Furmark and it didnt restart. I will try faulty power now.
Once pixels get so small that you can't see them (like 4k on my 15" laptop), you don't get any benefit.
It's lagger, OS's can't scale it properly, it's harder to push, kills battery life, undermines the quality of the panel, and eats up bandwidth.
Quad HD is the next step, not 4k. 1440P monitor with HDR and freesync when?
>>59308701
>OS's can't scale it properly
Whoa, wait a minute there. Maybe *yours* can't. Mine handles it just fine.
hate pixels as in we want less or hate as in we dont want to see them.
